I really cannot fault this little Auberge. There's a warm welcome, comfortable and clean rooms and one of my favourite restaurants with a top quality menu at just E36.50. The service is impeccable in the restaurant, not only for dinner but at breakfast which includes fresh charcuterie and home made preserves. The setting, with lage riverside gardens is great and... An excellent traditional French Auberge. The rooms were simple but set in beautiful gardens with a stream running through. The food was truly magnificent and our dinner exceeded all expectations both in content and presentation. Breakfast was superb with an excellent selection of breads, cheeses, meats fruit, yogurt and juices. Staff were very pleasant and although English was at a minimum... More

We had a very enjoyable stay in the very pleasant setting of this auberge restaurant. Close to nature in a small village, the best asset is definitely the restaurant where you can find very nicely crafted dishes in a charming setting. The rooms have character, and so does the garden. Very nice experience overall.

We stayed here about 15 years ago and loved the charm and setting so were pleased that it has not lost any of its character. If you want an authentic French experience this is it. Lovely quiet garden overlooking a river where we sat relaxing on our arrival. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Excellent evening meal. We... More

We hoped this would be a good place to stay and we were not disappointed. After settling into our room we sat by the river in the beautiful gardens and relaxed totally after a day's drive. The room was comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the garden; so peaceful. Our meal was superb! My entrée was Crème Brulee St Jacques;... More

A wonderful place with a dining room with a lot of character. The food : a total delight ! We enjoyed the whole dinner with the high point, the apotheosis: "le soufflé au Grand Marnier" as a dessert : huge and so tasty. We are very much looking forward to come back to auberge du clos normans as soon as we... More

It was a very disappointing experience. The grounds are really lovely and very peaceful and relaxing. The bedrooms on the other hand, although they looked great were very impractical. The double bed was extremely small, the lighting was terrible and the loo wouldn't flush properly. We were very much looking forward to our dinner but it proved to be 'more... More

Close enough to Dieppe for first or last night before making the ferry closing. The Auberge is in a small village and appears to be a amalgamation of several houses, very tastefully up-dated and fitted out in a very appealing style. The restaurant is superb and must be booked in advance as it is very popular with non residents. This... More

If you like to diversify your hotel stays with some country side hotels. This one is a catch. Fair price and a really nice rooms design. Nice continental breakfast. There is a very nice garden with a private stream in it. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful. Bottom line a catch!!! It would be made perfect if they added... More

Once again the Clos Normand has excelled itself. The restaurant has been well filled this evening, mainly by English people, which was pleasing. Everything about tonight's dining experience was first class. My sincere congratulations to dominique and christiane on continuing to present such a first class restaurant and hotel. This remains the premier establishment in the Dieppe area.
