Really excellent location 6 klms from Dieppe Ferry, Trout stream and the bottom of a very well laid out garden, all set in a tranquil village. The rooms are rustic and very well equipped even having the kettle for making Tea etc. The Restaurant provides fine dining with a good choice of French dishes at reasonable prices. All the Hotel... This Logis de France hotel has 3 Chimneys and 3 CookPots - for a good reason. The ambience is good, and the food excellent, The rooms were quiet, in a verandah annexe, The breakfast was excellent and the two key menus on offer were superb. . we ate there for dinned and lunch the following day and had some sublime... Fantastic old norman building in a village just outside of Dieppe. Rooms are nice if a little flowery. The only complaint is that the toilet is in a room one side of the bed & the washbasin in the bathroom on the other side. Room 1 is right by the stairs so you get all the guests passing by at... We were not staying here but booked in for dinner by our host of a nearby Chambres D'Hotes. We were shown to a table just outside the main dining room, which was fine - initially we thought maybe we were the only diners and the main room was closed - wrong!!! It soon filled up with other diners and a... More

Our first trip to Normandy and this hotel - it's a gem! Beautiful setting, the gardens are superb and the location is great. The rooms are designed in a traditional French style - the beds are super comfy! We ate breakfast and evening meals which were delicious, the service was spot on and the chef was able to create vegetarian... More

Charming, characterful hotel with splendid gardens in a lovely rural setting, yet very close to dieppe. Comfortable rooms, and excellent food for both dinner and breakfast. Friendly welcome. Reasonable prices.

This looked like a great hotel set in beautiful gardens. Unfortunately we didn't get to experience them as they made a mistake with our booking and turned us away. We booked two months in advance. We received a confirmation email following our booking. I later emailed the owner with a question & got a response - so why they then... More

Unpretentious, this is great value for money. A bit rough around the edges, but there appears to be renovation going on so it can only get better. Bathroom in our room was upgraded and excellent. A cold day between seasons, they had put the heating on to warm the room. Restaurant good for evening meal, and breakfast excellent. Basically continental,... More

We stayed at the Auberge in April and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This time, the weather was rather grey so we missed sitting in the attractive garden by the river although we were delighted to see a pair of green woodpeckers from our window. The decor in room 3 was charming as well as being comfortable, warm and well equipped.... More

I really cannot fault this little Auberge. There's a warm welcome, comfortable and clean rooms and one of my favourite restaurants with a top quality menu at just E36.50. The service is impeccable in the restaurant, not only for dinner but at breakfast which includes fresh charcuterie and home made preserves. The setting, with lage riverside gardens is great and...
