Well we have recently returned home after a great family holiday at Alpina , no real surprise there as this is the fourth time my wife and myself have stayed here since 2010. But this time we took our three grown children their partners and our three grandchildren totalling eleven people , from the moment we made our hotel booking... More

Well, its pretty cheap for a 4 * hotel in comparison with others hotel in the area. The room is spacious and well-equipped. I love the pool and the spa, so comfortable. However, during our stay it's quiet deserted and the pool will be closed at 7 p.m which is a minus point for the hotel. The staff is very... More

We are currently staying here as I type. We are on our 3rd day and 2nd trip to Kata overall. We originally booked the pool access room but 4 weeks ago decided to upgrade to a private pool villa and WOW! Massive villa and stunning. Yes as other reviewers say, could use a lick of paint here and there but... More

Spent five days in this hotel, was wonderful from the beginning. However, the last day was nightmare. There was no tap water in the room when I waked up around 6AM. I thought they may work on facility repairing. So I waited until 7AM, and there was still no water!!! I had to call the service desk, and ask someone... More

Its the first ever place in Thailand I stayed at so I couldnt complain but there are better hotels out there for cheaper. I got my room at a sale price and dont think it would have been worth full price. However, its not at all a bad hotel. It needs some small changes here and there but otherwise these... More

This is a quite big hotel, with a quite good location some 10 minutes walk from the lovely Kata Beach. I liked the swimming pool area, which is big and nice. It was quiet, easy to relax and sleep, which is a real plus. The rooms (at least my room) were old and weary, and not very modern. The staff... More

Smaller resort. Great front desk service. Very helpful. Large room, comfy bed, unobtrusive decor, with turn down service. Shuttles to beach. Breakfast buffet is good but could have been better. Egg station is kept busy. Lack of bacon or beans some mornings annoyed a few fellow diners. Juice choices were good. Our other meals here were quite good. Cocktails were... More

We were booked into the pool access rooms from 9th April, 2014 for one week but upon arrival we were told we could not have these rooms as the pools filtration system was not working, which meant the pools were green with thick slime including the main pool. I think this problem had occurred many months beforehand and we were... More

We had a good stay here, buffet breakfast every morning, the personal pool access rooms are nothing special, they don't open up to the main lagoon, we stayed in a standard room. Staff where always friendly and helpful. I loved staying in kata as opposed to anywhere else, probably will stay in karon next time. This hotel is definitely in... More
