This is a very good hotel for the price. The swimming pool was quite nice, although I wished it were open past 7:00PM. A very short walk to Kata Beach, and many restaurants. One note: Beware of local taxi drivers! Was told the restaurant I wanted to go to (10 minutes away) was "closed", but could be taken to another... More

January 2014 travelled round Thailand and stayed in 7 places over 3 weeks and this was the only one that disappointed. 6 of us in 3 rooms, all were dark looking onto a wall or water tank and pool area was horrible! They wouldn't top up tea, sugar etc but everywhere else did which we thought petty. We have just... More

We stayed here right before new years 2013 and felt it was well overpriced for what you actually get. The room was ok, Thai standard. We had a room towards the back with a balcony view of a wall. The pool is small and full of leaves. The mini ponds by the reception are mosquito reproduction ponds. The beds were... More

Disappointing. While the beach was a short walk an breakfast was good the room smelled of mold. There was a lengthly brown out lasting to early motning the next day unfortunately the generator was not able to provide power to the guest rooms. The balcony faced a concrete wall .

I just stayed 4 nights here, which was OK but I booked a fifth and left early and they wouldn't refund me or give me my money back. Also when I arrived I asked specifically for a room with a decent view of some sort as I wanted to sit on the balcony and write, and they gave me a... More

If I had to do it all again. There is NO WAY i would stay there. 7 nights of disappointment. The food at the restaurant was not good at all. The staff had limited English. The funniest is that you only get coffee and tea bags on the first day of arrival in your room. Thereafter it was not replenished.... More

The Kata Poolside Resort is on Kata Road at Kata Beach so location is very good. We paid 1800baht a night walk in rate for a Deluxe Pool Access room which also included free wifi and breakfast. There are not many rooms that face the pool which is quite small, nowhere near as big as it looks on their website... More

Decent enough Hotel. In retrospect we were probably over-charged for our room but weren't overly concerned. We stayed three nights in a 1st floor room looking onto the pool. It was lovely and clean and towels/linen provided were fine. After a short stay in another part of the island we decided to return here and were given a pool access... More

On check in I was charged more for walking off the street and not booking online. No wifi in room and no English speaking TV accept for the news! Was really wanting to get out of the heat for a couple of hours and relax with the movie channel! No such luck! No towels in room what so ever and... More
