The location is really what saves this place. Its just a short walk to the beach, and lots of shops are closeby. The rooms themselves were ok, beds were hard and there was no wifi in the room, but they were fairly clean. Staff were friendly, even though they didnt speak much English. A bit pricey for what you get.

Stayed for 2 nights in December. As we checked in very late (around 10 PM) we got probably the worst room facing the taylor so we couldn't remove the curtains at all. However, the hotel itself was quite okay- the room was clean, quite spacious, staff was friendly. Sleep quality excellent- didn't hear a sound and the bed was very... More

The front desk was rude and not helpful at all. They couldn't help us get a taxi to the airport so we had to walk down the street with our luggage to find one. They said we would of had to order one the day before but they never let us know that. The food at the restaurant was horrible... More

I stayed here with my partner in September this year. Being wet season average temperatures were a little lower than peak season. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms were well maintained by the cleaning staff each day. Couldn't ask for more there. The room has a decent sized balcony overlooking the pool which is sparkling clean and refreshing.... More

Kata poolside is a nice hotel, 5 min walk from kata beach. The staff are nice and the rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated. They also give you a discount at their restaurant next door (30% off dinner and a free welcome drink) which was worth doing - very good food! Quite pricey but nice to treat yourself after weeks... Nice hotel near the beach. Hotel has two building with the pool in between. We took the pool view rooms on the 2nd building which has balcony on the pool side. Rooms are large with basic toilet amenities. No power shower but large and comfortable beds. Very nice breakfast at the restaurant which also offers 30% discount for the guests... More

I really enjoyed staying here it is very close to everything and although it is close to all facilities it is tucked away done the side of it's restaurant which is on the main road it was a bit of a walk to to our room but I didn't mind as it is very quiet. The pool area is very... More

This is a very good hotel for the price. The swimming pool was quite nice, although I wished it were open past 7:00PM. A very short walk to Kata Beach, and many restaurants. One note: Beware of local taxi drivers! Was told the restaurant I wanted to go to (10 minutes away) was "closed", but could be taken to another... More

January 2014 travelled round Thailand and stayed in 7 places over 3 weeks and this was the only one that disappointed. 6 of us in 3 rooms, all were dark looking onto a wall or water tank and pool area was horrible! They wouldn't top up tea, sugar etc but everywhere else did which we thought petty. We have just... More

We stayed here right before new years 2013 and felt it was well overpriced for what you actually get. The room was ok, Thai standard. We had a room towards the back with a balcony view of a wall. The pool is small and full of leaves. The mini ponds by the reception are mosquito reproduction ponds. The beds were... More
