this hotel is far from a 5* smells terribly bad. but big rooms close to the center. The walk down the beach in the jungle is risky but faster than taking the road. restaurant very expensive and charge absolutely everything. no distraction for kids at all. nice view and quit nice hotel for couple but not for family with young... Located in Laem Sai road, it's a walking distance from the lively streets of Kata beach. Even though it's a four star hotel, we didn't feel it lacked anything or that five star ones were that much better. The suites are huge and clean. The view from the balconies is amazing. The pool is great. Only thing that wasn't so... More

Stayed here for the third time after loving it so much before. This time went with friends and stayed in a grand garden suite. We had to wait until 2 o'clock to check in and the receptionist allowed us to leave bags locked in the office door for safe keeping. We were then taken to our room, I could not... More

The longer we stayed the lower the rating got. The first night I would have given 4.5 stars. Big rooms, in OK condition, near the beach - good value for money (I thought). The first night we had to turn the air conditioner off because it was so loud we couldn't sleep. The second night we were awoken in the... More

The Aspasia is an above average holiday resort hotel from which you can walk down to the beach (quite a trek to come back up). I must was great and very spacious....it consisted of 2 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and a very spacious balcony. The apartment was clean and the staff were friendly. My only complaint was the... More

We chose this hotel mainly for its location. The hotel is situated on top of hill beside kata beach. It offers a fantastic view of Andaman sea from its lobby as well as room. Kata itself is my favourite beach in Phuket for its exclusive blue water, scenic surroundings and awesome sandy beach, which is within walking distance from hotel.... More

We stayed 5 and 6 July as the previous two we had stayed earlier in our trip were no longer offering special prices. Aspasia was in some ways much nicer than Avista and Katathani Phutket Beach resort in that the room was really large and lovely and the outdoor corridors were colourful with attractive railings (although a veritable maze with... First expressions are wow as the view out to the sea from the lobby/reception is amazing. The welcome drinks were delicious and the receptionist walked us to our rooms which was a necessity as the rooms would be hard to find with the layout of the place. The sea view rooms have gorgeous views even from the bed. The rooms... More

Some tips to get there: We took an affordable but slow 200 bht shared minibus from the airport which took about an hour and dropped us off in front of the lobby. Do not take a minibus if you are tired or in a hurry, for our driver took us to some random travel agent about 15 to 20 minutes... More

I like that this resort supports a relatively small number of guests (only about 46 suites and villas) but the grounds are very expansive and rooms extremely large and spacious. Clean and relatively new, but showing a bit of wear and tear in the bathroom. There are 4 floors spread out over lush gardens; it is very quiet and private... More
