The best attribute of the Boathouse is it's location - it is unparalleled, situated right on the sand on Kata Beach. A perfect honey moon spoiled by our camera being stolen from our room on the first day of stay. I will take some blame as we did not put it in the safety deposit box but you don't really expect that to happen in such a reputable hotel. It did leave a bad feeling for the rest of our trip... more

This was an overall great stay somwhat spoilt by both our rooms being upstairs with a roof top view. Shame because everything else is superb especially the staff and the food both at the dining room and the new "jazz" place next door. more
