This is supposed to be renovated, what a crab . Bedsheets and duvets still stained with blood as ever in past years . The greedy new owner just renovated lightly but not in deep . As said duvet dirty , sweaty smells , dirty towels . Disgusting beds . Awful breakfast. Very low weather pressure. No cream , shampoo and... More

The hotel is just about to complete a renovation, ehich for sure will bring new potential to the hotel. Pool was ok and a new fitmness room seems to be quite big an interesting, but was not opened during our stay. The bad things is, however, that there is a lot of confussion og delusion among the staff. There is... More

Enjoyed our stay. Ask for an ocean view room - it's beautiful! Pools are beautiful and well looked after. Pool bar is a bonus (however not always available) Walking distance to the beach (2min walk) Nice breakfast options Very friendly staff - good English

Setting is good but we stayed when under construction. Very noisy. Elevators didn't work, we walked over 140 stairs to get to the room on 5th floor with stunning views. Upon requesting another room, lower down, it was much more noisy. Room itself was luxurious, by Thailand standards. Pool with more had also out of order. No wifi in rooms

I was there in september 2013 for 3 days, but I like it so much I stayed 2 weeks because the quality for the price, 1000bth per night, imbatable. BUT, U have to choose the room U want, in consideration with Ur age, because this hotel being built on a mountain, there is 120 stairs plus 2 elevators to reach... More

I was taken to my room and we went by stairs, then we caught an elevator, then more stairs, then another elevator...then climbed more stairs, seriously!! It appears the hotel is built on the side of a hill and my room was near the top. I asked for another room and was taken to a room next to the pool... More

This hotel is a very interesting one. It combines features of a 5*, 4* and a 3* hotel. It is acctually a 3* hotel but offers more. We stayed at CHANALAI GARDEN RESORT when it was tropical garden resort back in jan 2012 for our honeymoon. View is spectecular (5*) Rooms are old, furniture are old (3*) but all was... More

Spent one night here when I arrived at the airport without a hotel late one night. The airport booth obviously gets a good commission. The hotel is generally of a very low standard. Spent the one night without power for about 4 hours - no generator. Room grubby, hotel grubby. Breakfast was awful. Location is OK but Kata beach is... More
