We went to the New Years Eve party and stayed the night so we did not have to drive home. The meal was very good which included all the wine, cava, soft drinks etc. They had a disco after midnight which was very noisy and went on too long. Our room which was above the reception was very noisy when... More

A lovely small hotel in a beautiful location, with good parking facilities All staff were very nice and very helpful. A big thank you to them all. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and decorated in a traditional style. The en suite bathrooms again are clean, and are simple in their design. Sadly the gardens need to look more tidy,... More

Nice hotel with good views. The double bed was ok, nice hot shower, the personnel was ok. The environment was very nice with lots of possibilities both in and out of the towns around. The food in the hotel was not very special and for a Spanish criterion below par.

We have stayed here at least once a year for 6 years and never had a problem. This time was a complete waste of money! The dirty "fish"pond used to be a lovely children's pool. The sun loungers were tatty and some ripped and the paint was flaking off the pool. Dinner was a disaster . The waiter could not... More

Well what can I say ? Great little hotel next to the largest lake in Andalucía. You walk in and the clean reception shows of its grand central stairway, then as you walk through, there is an inner function room which is used for breakfast. This is the heart of the hotel where you can get the fresh air flowing... More

The hotel is nice but upon arrival the pool water needed some extra filtering (water OK after 2 days), most of the parasols were broken and the deck chairs need to be cleaned or replaced. Breakfast is sober but OK, toast the bread if you want to enjoy it. Beautifully situated next to the lake we spent a very relaxing... More

This is a lovely, slightly quirky, Hotel right on the lake looking across towards the whitewashed village of Iznajar, about 25 minutes walk away. The staff were charming and helpful the breakfasts were ample and taken in a splendid Andalucian patio courtyard. The hotel is great value for money and you can sit on an evening and watch the sun... We stayed here for one night as part of a cycling tour. The hotel is off the main road and looks over the lake. It is about 25 minutes to walk into town. The hotel is family run and beautifully decorated in authentic, "old world charm" Spanish style. The staff are friendly and helpful, and come with a sense of... More

.......... not part of a group of hotels; but run by a really nice man. He & his staff speak a little English, which is more than I speak Spanish, but no problems. The setting has to be seen to be believed; one feels as though the hotel is on an island but in fact it is close to the... More
