Our stay at Finca Las Encinas really recharged our batteries making us able to cope with the dull weather back home. During stressful days with rain or snow we look out the window thinking of the tranquility of Finca Las Encinas. The warmth and open-heartedness of Maki, Clive, and their son Cei and the endless hunger of the dogs Smokey... More

What a find. We have just returned from 4 nights with Clive, Maki, Cei and the pets in this beautiful Finca. We went for a relaxing break in the sun and that is exactly what we got. Clive and Maki were the perfect hosts, making us feel almost part of the family. The rooms are charming, and we spent afternoons... More

Finca Las Encinas – Iznájar – Andaluciá – Spain (a rural retreat with fine cuisine and cooking courses in Andaluciá). If any place deserves the by-line of ‘mi casa es tu casa’ (my house is your house), this is it! From the moment we arrived until we left, we were treated as though we were family or best friends. We... More

We arrived almost at midnight and instandly felt welcome. A couple of times we ate what a German and U.K. guest had made during their cooking class. It was great. Everything at the finca is very good: the food, the surrounding and the room. But extra special is the treatment of the owners, Clive and Maki and their son. We... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights during our trip through Spain. Up until this point of our trip we spent most of our time in urban areas. Arriving to the rural setting of Finca las Encinas was a welcome change. I argee with a previous post that if you are looking for a modern-chic type of accomodation... More

My wife stayed in this Finca for 4 nights. We like bed & breakfasts because of the personal contact with the owners and other guests. We were not disappointed at Finca Las Encinas. Clive, Maki and their son Cei are wonderful hosts. They create a relaxed vacation atmosphere. The Finca is a small building; the rooms are clean, good bed... More

An extensive and unique region of low mountains in rural Andalusia that is covered almost entirely by olive groves that march in every direction as far as the eye can see. Hilly, twisting roads. The B&B is set within the small Los Juncares community setting - which is made up of older homes and a school and gathered fairly closely... More

Had a fantastic stay at Finca Las Encinas. What made it great was the owners' fantastic knowledge of the area, their readiness to help plan and arrange things to do/see in the area, and the out-of-this-world dinners and breakfasts. Would definitely suggest eating there in the evenings as Clive is a trained chef who uses local ingredients to prepare the... More

We had a vacation of 1 week at Finca Las Encinas with our grandparents. The location is great for both Granada, Cordoba and Antequera to visit. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal to. We would like to thank Clive and Maki for the good care and extra attention they gave to grandma with diabetes! Hanne & Simon More
