This is basic accommodation for a large family and our boys enjoyed the use of the pool very much, they stayed in there until bedtime! The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of extra towels for the pool. Rooms were clean and roomy and the beds were comfortable, what I liked most was the quiet, we... More

Smelly, dusty tiny rooms. Beds squashed together. Blankets thin and smelly. Carpets stained. Windows filthy. Bathroom gross- the shower head shot off the wall, the towel rail collapsed when we hung a towel up and it didn't get repaired over the three nights we were there. There is mould in the bathroom. Old, dated, small & extremely basic rooms.

We stayed for three nights over Easter-ANZAC Day. The Motel is a little tired and in need of some basic tidying up but, as a basic 3 star motel the Newcastle Heights Motel is what one can expect. The room provided basic cooking equipment - microwave, jug and crockery but in a constrained area that limited one's ability to prepare... More

After meeting back up with the galley again (my gf), after she was way on holidays for a while, we had a wonderful reunion. The night was picturesque and picture perfect. No compalaints late at night when we returned to the hotel, and the beds had good bounce which allowed for a good night. There was no bird poo or... More

My husband and I booked into this motel for one night as we were attending a party close by. We were very disappointed with the room. The room and bed smelt, it was in poor condition, there was no shampoo which is always supplied in other motels we stay, the cups were not clean. I would not recommend any of... More

We just stayed here overnight on the way thru to Canberra and found it had all we needed. The beds were comfortable it was easy to find and access and the location was great for our needs. The young man in the office was very friendly and helped with all our queries. The bathroom was functional and clean as was... More

Service friendly...but it didn't excuse the bird crap in the sheets and windows open that didn't lock (they were open to try rid the stench of the mouldy bathroom..didn't.. work!!) Over all was just a flimsy pillow for the night..the blankets with cigarette burns were warm though..

This would have to be the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in!! Rusty toaster; no plates or cutlery. If you did want to use the toaster or the kettle you had to unplug the microwave first. Bed pushed up against the wall so you had to get in and out one at a time or climb the length of the... More

Thankfully only stayed one night. Our room was very cosy... in fact so cosy that one side of the queen bed was pushed against the wall, very difficult to access for me. But the best, was that there were NO bed lights. On discovering this my husband saw the owner who gave us one desk light,,, still not good enough,... More

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment overnight, and it was massive. Large living area downstairs, with a double bed in an open room at the top of the stairs and a separate bedroom with bunk. The bathroom was clean and modern. At just under $200 for the night though, I thought it was a bit expensive for a motel in... More
