We have stayed here our times on our way to Austria to ski, it is an ideal stop in our journey. The staff are welcoming and we usually receive an upgrade in low season. There is a roaring fire in the guest sitting room adorned with English hunting prints. The menu is excellent in the restaurant, which was beautifully decorated... More

The hotel-restaurant is outstanding in most aspects, but, critically, is let down by a few, deteriorating the overall experience. Splendid building, park and interior décor. Attractive, very pleasant Standard Supérieure room, with a nice view. Good service. Excellent breakfast. On the other hand, no bath mat, and a few other minor faults in the room : narrow bath-shower, sending a... More

We have just returned from our second stay this year with this hotel. I think that this speaks for itself. This is one of the few hotels that we have experienced, that takes service to its customers seriously. From the champagne waiting for us in our room, to the exquisite choice of wines for each individual course of the evening... More

Our second visit to this wonderful hotel, this time with our daughters to celebrate my birthday. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the girls were delighted to have an upgrade and were very impressed with their room. We made full use of the lovely natural pool and enjoyed a lovely, relaxing afternoon. The gardens are beautiful and we... More

We were looking forward to staying at this Michelin star hotel after driving down from Holland and enjoying the wonderful scenery in the Jura. When we arrived, at about six pm we were welcomed by the proprietor and shown to our room. The room was small, well decorated but with our daughter sleeping on a camp bed at the end... More

This place is very special, we had one night there on our way down South. The gardens, the house and the pool were all just picture perfect - the website does not do the place justice. We had a room on the top floor which was really nicely decorated and big enough for us, a pullout bed for our 4... More

Went for a night with my family (including 2 children 9 and 11 yrs). We stayed in the 'family apartment'. 2 single beds up and parent room down. This apartment is equipped with a kitchen. The Chateau is located in small village and have a fairly good park very well done. Swimming pool is there too. A 'natural' one it... More

This is the sort of fabulous old fashioned French country inn that is now exceedingly rare. The beautiful old building was once a hunting lodge belonging to a local nobleman. It is surrounded by ancient linden trees and a park like setting. There is a wonderful spring fed swimming pool. Service is gracious and helpful in every way. The dining... More

It's easy to drive past the un imposing roadside entrance as you drive through Port Lesney. But inside a warm welcome awaits from everyone and they all pull together as a team to offer a superb and thoughtful service. The chefs even came out of the kitchen to take the garden gate off it's hinges so we could get our... More

Wonderful place. We stayed for one night enroute to Switzerland. Everything was first class. Warm welcome on arriving. We were not in the most expensive room but it was extremely comfortable. Superb food and very helpful wine waiter. Excellent service without being too intrusive. Very peaceful and relaxing. Will certainly stay again.
