We booked two rooms in this hotel for an overnight stop on the way to the Alps. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a great night's sleep without any noise. We booked half board and were served a set menu which was excellent. we would definitely recommend.

We have now stayed here for an overnight stop on three occasions - an ideal quiet location, under 3 hours driving time from Calais and only a short distance from the autoroute. The very comfortable rooms are mainly set around a pleasant garden quadrangle. Friendly and helpful reception. Characterful main building and restaurant.

We booked for 3 nights and found the hotel easy to find in the small town of Matougues. All the staff very friendly and helpful, with most bilingual. Rooms were larger than you would expect with large comfortable bedding and well serviced and clean room (204). Our room came with aircon and fast free wifi and an electric exterior blind... More

Found this fabulous hotel on doing a search for accommodation during our European touring holiday. WOW This was a a delight. We had a fantastic room which was very comfortable, big luxurious bed and a complete surprise, a separate loft room for the teenage daughters to share. With an equally luxurious bathroom and huge shower we were enchanted. Only a... More

We booked the Auberge des Moissons to break our journey en route to Germany, and found it to be a bit of an oasis in the middle of the motorway desert. There weren't many alternative places nearby and we were worried it could be Hobson's Choice, but we were really pleased with it. We stayed in one of the family... More

We stayed for two nights on a half-board basis at the beginning of July, My wife being a little disabled we had an excellent, attractive room in the older part of the buildings with a two-part en-suite. Easy access from the nearby paved carpark via reception. We were staying at the same time as an MG Drivers Club on a... More

We arrived at the hotel after a 7 hour journey from the South of France. It was easy to find and only a few minutes off the motorway. We had a very warm welcome at the reception. The family room was very clean and spacious with two single beds upstairs for our daughters ( with their own air con unit... More

We hadn't booked ahead and found this hotel by chance but I'm very glad we did, it was a great place to stay. We stayed in a suite, the only accommodation left, so maybe we were lucky as it was set to one side of the hotel and was very quiet. It was certainly comfortable; a huge bed, magnificent bathroom,... 15 members of the South Leicester MG club stayed here for 5 nights for our annual, trip to France. The 8 rooms that we booked were all very similar, plenty of room for us, some rooms having both double and a single bed. Rooms were clean and serviced to a good standard each day. The rooms would of benefitted from... More

Very much in the "Champagne country" and a bit off the beaten track, but as previous commentators have said, well placed for autoroutes to the channel ports or other areas of France. A large car park, but most of the bedrooms are grouped around a central courtyard and you go into the main building for your meals and evening entertainment... More
