We have stayed here many times on our way back home as it is takes comfortably less than 3 hours to drive to Calais. The Chateau is a beautiful old building with many period features and has a slightly faded grandeur. There are steep stairs to the upstairs rooms but there is also a stable block with better access for... More

We were one of two couples in the hotel this rainy January Monday evening. We had a glass of Champagne (what else?) in the cosy library in front of the fireplace while discussing the menu for dinner. The restaurant has one star in the Michelin guide, so the fixed 3 course menu was a good choice. We really enjoyed eating... More

A georgous, romantic chateau with wonderful gardens and exceptional food. Staff warm, friendly and helpful, food exceptional and, well, it is Champagne! An amazing nine course candle-lit dinner with live music and fabulous champagne. As good as it gets! We will be back next year.

Selene, the charming receptionist , was very welcoming and helpful. The whole staff were 'sympa' . We arrived with 2 wet dogs ( having walked in rain) and we're shown to our fabulous room and later had a fantastic dinner. The food was excellent as were the wines- we had the degustation menu and thought it very good value. The... More

On arrival we carefully negotiated the many potholes in the long drive, we have a low car, and parked up at reception. The lady at reception was pleasant and gave us a tour of hotel, interrupted several times to answer the phone, and up to our room. The whole hotel oozes splendour with beautiful decor. Quite amazing, but in keeping... More

My husband booked this hotel all by himself (as a surprise for me) on the internet for 3 nights on our travels through France, what an experience! Our reception and check in was fine, the receptionist chatty and friendly and showed us to our room - on the 2nd floor. We had driven there from Chateau de Chailly, also a... More

We booked this hotel after looking for somewhere that would accept a dog. We managed to get the last room via Booking.com at a very reasonable price and for one night had a standard double. We had a lovely reception and introduction to the hotel by reception staff, who welcomed us warmly. Our room was small, but we expected it.... More

Stunning 17th Century chateau with beautiful grounds, outdoor swimming pool, elegant dinning room with views onto the garden and a delightful old world glass conservatory where breakfast is served. Here is another example where the hotel was better than average but I cannot grade it very good. The state of the rooms is dated. There is no air conditioning and although a fan was willingly supplied it really did not make the room bearable. The pillows were terrible. Having said all that the hotel is in a lovely setting....
