This is our first hotel in Loire valley, and I will mention few things : 1. Location: very good, close to Ambois city and castle 🏰, 1 hour to Chambord, Chenonceau Chateau is about 30 min drive, Villandry around 40 min; 2. Hotel: beautiful old Chateau, wondrful interiors, library, rooms are really good but in old building there is no... More

My husband and I just spent two nights at Chateau de Noizay in June during our honeymoon. It was easily the most accommodating, gracious staff we encountered on our whole trip! On our second morning we had wake up very early for a hot air balloon ride, and the staff had prepared freshly baked croissants and pastries for us to... More

Just driving up to this place is magical. Staff could not have been nicer. We stayed in the older, main section of the hotel which was quirky and full of history. The stairs may be an issue if you have mobility problems. We literally felt like Lord and Lady of the Manor while here. If the weather is nice, sit... More

Our review of Chateau de Noizay needs to be spilt, as parts were excellent, parts were as described but lacking and parts were poor. The Excellent: Our evening meal was lovely. The food, service, ambiance etc... were all in sync. to create a relaxed and delicious dining experience. Breakfast was also a comfortable, quiet occasion though, whilst the buffet was... More

Went for the 2nd time for lunch at the Chateau de Noizay (last time was 2 years ago) and was once again was not disappointed. The place is charming and very comfortable, the service is top notch (we ate inside and has coffee in the garden) and the food always excellent (presentation, quality of ingredients and overall menu and wine... A group of 14, slightly damp and bedraggled cyclists, we turned up at this super smart looking hotel and asked if it was possible to have coffee. 'Of course' was the reply, but they would prefer if we could we sit outside, and the parasols would shelter us if it rained again! It didn't rain, we had coffee and beers... More

I would agree with one of the reviews that Xavier tries to be extremely helpful and friendly. He is front desk manager but also helps with luggage and making sure customer is happy. But, a Relaix Chateau, it is not in my opinion. The tennis court was a mess, the rooms although in a 'classic French' style and color are... More

We were just here a few weeks ago and were very happy that it was recommended to us by a friend. the front desk staff were all nice and gave us great recommendations in the area. the outdoor areas are nice to sit in. the town itself does not have much but there is plenty to explore within a half... Stayed at this little chateau hotel for 3 nights while visiting Loire Valley. My first time staying at this kind of hotels. Their wooden stairs look very old, and the steps are not even level. Although the facilities were old, unlike those modern hotels, it definitely has its own style. We had been a memorable and comfortable stay there. Besides... More
