The chateau is lovely and has beautiful gardens. The atmosphere inside is wonderful, big wide staircases and large rooms full of character. The dining is superb along with the service, the staff are very attentive and helpful. We stayed in rooms 9 & 10 which had views over the garden and the pool with free wifi ( a lovely surprise)... First, the good news: great location near Tours, beautiful chateau, pretty garden, lovely pool. Fantastic beds, American style showers and big bathrooms. The bad news: dark decor (none of the light airy colors seen on the web site), overcomplicated expensive food, and understaffed. They certainly try very hard, but for the price it is not worth it. There are better... More

We stayed one night on our way through the Loire. We had originally booked the clocktower room but were offered a room in the main chateau - and it was lovely. We did this since it was cool enough and pleasant to leave the windows open - but the main chateau does not have air conditioning. The room was large,... More

Travelling through the Loire valley, we stayed one night at this small, elegant hotel, in Room 19, on the 1/f of The Clock House. This is a very compact, comfortable room, with a pleasant view of the front of the chateau and driveway. The room had loud, dated ('70's) decor, with repro furniture, no shower or whirlpool tub. The cuisine... More

My husband and I stayed in the Chateau for four nights in May and on the whole we had a pleasant stay. All of the staff without exception were very gracious and accommodating, we couldn't fault them. The housekeeping staff were particularly good and the rooms were very clean. We dined in the restaurant on one of the nights -... More

While on a short two day visit to the Loire Valley and its chateaux we stayed at this lovely chateau. The rooms were good sized with beautiful views of the valley below. The bathrooms could do with a little upgrade and I do missed having a bath curtain, but then this is France and you have to improvise. The public... More

The beauty and elegance of the chateau, the amazing meals in the restaurant, are completely overshadowed by the incredible service and friendliness of the entire staff. From the reception team to the sommelier and restaurant staff (and chef!), there was no 'ask' too big, small, or crazy (and we had at least one!) that gave the Chateau de Noisay team... More

My friend and I spent 3 nights and 4 days at this splendid and authentic chateau. Complete with spectacular service and wonderful food. No request was too much, and done with a gracious smile. It was a pleasure! This is a central location for wine tasting and historical views of many chateaus. If you are considering this hotel, do not... More

Chateau de Noizay was elegant in every way. We stayed in the Diane suite and had an excellent view of the property out our window. We stayed two nights and made a point to try dinner at the chateau for one of the nights... So glad we did! Food was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend splurging on this front!

Our last night in Loire we went to Noizay...need a reservation....on entry to the Chateau three people to take our coats and set us up in the lounge with glass of champagne. Lounge was cozy...they gave us menus there and answered questions...service was attentive without being overly solicitous or hurried. We selected the tasting menu which had 6 courses. We... More
