Lovely setting, gorgeous building and rooms, with incredibly comfy beds! However, meal was not as excellent as we would have hoped from a relais recommended hotel and service extremely slow. In particular breakfast was poor value, and they had run out of most things and it took forever to restock. For the money, this chateau needs to employ more staff... More

Staying in a place which is older than the Taj Mahal and is still habitable is usually not something you can do very often. This is what Chateau de Noizay offers. A walk back into times when life was ornate, grand and at a scale that is unimaginable. I had booked last minute and so we ended up in the... More

We have been in this hotel for few days, rooms are beautiful, service excellent, cleaned and perfect. People at the reception very helpfull and nice. We had few dinners at the restaurant, ambience is greate but the food is not at all in line of what you would expect in such a place. Menu is not changing and the list of the... More

We found this place at the last minute, being unhappy with the hotel we were staying at. We liked it very much - the decor is fabulous, the old building is interesting, beautiful and full of character, with some history attached to it. It feels like a castle, and it is one! There is a nice swimming pool and spacious... More

This is our first hotel in Loire valley, and I will mention few things : 1. Location: very good, close to Ambois city and castle 🏰, 1 hour to Chambord, Chenonceau Chateau is about 30 min drive, Villandry around 40 min; 2. Hotel: beautiful old Chateau, wondrful interiors, library, rooms are really good but in old building there is no... More

My husband and I just spent two nights at Chateau de Noizay in June during our honeymoon. It was easily the most accommodating, gracious staff we encountered on our whole trip! On our second morning we had wake up very early for a hot air balloon ride, and the staff had prepared freshly baked croissants and pastries for us to... More

Just driving up to this place is magical. Staff could not have been nicer. We stayed in the older, main section of the hotel which was quirky and full of history. The stairs may be an issue if you have mobility problems. We literally felt like Lord and Lady of the Manor while here. If the weather is nice, sit... More

Our review of Chateau de Noizay needs to be spilt, as parts were excellent, parts were as described but lacking and parts were poor. The Excellent: Our evening meal was lovely. The food, service, ambiance etc... were all in sync. to create a relaxed and delicious dining experience. Breakfast was also a comfortable, quiet occasion though, whilst the buffet was... More
