Everything was perfect about our lunch at l'Auberge des Templiers: Beautiful dining-room, perfect service and outstanding food and wine. Perhaps this charming Relais et Chateaux hotel may seem a little old fashion and formal to some, but from our perspective that is precisely what made it such a delight.

We stayed here with some friends which was great.Loved the hotel, although I thought our room looked tired and in need of updating. The balcony hadn't been swept of leaves and had stacked plastic chairs! Would of expected iron or wooden chairs given how beautiful the hotel and grounds were. The food was amazing and had an extensive wine list.

A gorgeous historic hotel with well maintained grounds and a lovely (although freezing) pool. Food was superb (included in our package) and exquisitely presented. Serving staff were friendly and helpful. Outdoor dining on the terrace was beautiful. The only downside was we payed for a superior room and it did not for one second cross my mind that we would... We only stayed for one night, but what a wonderful experience. The hotel looks utterly average as you come through the gates, but once inside it is luxury from start to finish. We had a room in the main hotel with a balcony looking out into the enormous park with its many thatched annexes. The room was pale blue with... More

Auberge des Templiers is a comfortable hotel with professional and caring staff . Nice fireplace in the bar. Best for adults, for quiet and discreet retreat close to Paris. As mentioned in a previous review, it is "old school charm" . We stopped over for Christmas night with our 3 children (14, 12 and 10) on our way to Paris.... More

For the one who can afford it and can appreciate the beauty of this hotel, it's worth a detour. Beautiful antique decoration in the whole hotel including the rooms. One of the most beautiful park we have seen within a hotel ground. Very nice food and good wines. That one need to pay a price for all this must be... More

Excellent location south of Paris, about 4 hours from Calais. Close to motorway, so easy to get back en route to Switzerland or Southern France. Good, reasonably priced rooms, clean swimming pool and excellent restaurant.

This is a 'grown-up' hotel and is exactly what you expect from Relais & Chateau. Our room was comfortable, if a little dated, with a well-stocked bathroom. Good bed and pillows. We spent a few hours by the beautiful pool, which had excellent sun-loungers and a telephone to order refreshments (which arrived in minutes)! Dinner was sublime. We had a... More
