Close to the chateau of Chambord by car. Parking spaces adjacent. Clean, adequate, wifi. Room & restaurant within the norm. At €65 for a double in September the price seems fair. Petit déjeuner extra.

Two of us stopped here for a night to break our journey from Calais to the south. The hotel looks unpretentious from the outside but is cosy and welcoming. Our room was on the back of the building overlooking the car park (where we managed to find a space) and the (separate) restaurant. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, freebox satellite TV... More

This hotel is charming and fits perfectly into the beautiful Loire Valley experience. It is located near to Chambord, Cheverny and a number of other chateaus. It was close enough to Chambord for us to drive over to the chateau simply to see the sunset. Despite its age and old feel, the hotel is completely up to date with all... More

we have just stayed at the hotel on the 31st August 2013 for one night, of a party of 8 people. The hotel was booked through Booking.com and reserved on the internet. The hotel is half way for our trip back to Calais and catered for two rooms of 4 people. The hotel has a late arrival check in time... More

The owners were very helpful and friendly. They arranged to have some decent bikes available at a reasonable price. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Quiet area in an excellent location between Chambord and Cheverny. Restaurant was only okay but it was convenient and the service was good. We had a good wifi connection on 2nd floor.

Stayed here on a Saturday & Sunday night so we could visit Chambord and other chateaux in the area. Booked online the night before and had lovely welcome. Very pleasant room on top floor and bathroom was a decent size, too. Unlike previous reviewer had no trouble with wifi reception. The restaurant is just across the small car park and... More

The location was good to visit Chambord and the village was nice. The hotel was shabby, with no air conditioning and no wifi above the 1st floor. It is a fire trap. This place would be tolerable except for the manager. This is what happened to us: We booked a room Aug 9th at the Hotel Le Saint Florent in... More

2 night stop during a cycling trip in Loire. Safe secure storage for bikes. Restaurant for dinner at adjoining restaurant very good but breakfast in hotel at best average and served off paper tablecloth with no plates. Rooms very small with no amenities at all - no hairdryer, no fridge, no kettle and hotel did not own an iron. Alot... More

Great location to break our journey from the South of France to the channel port. Hotel suggested a good vet for our dog's routine treatment prior to return. Good hotel in separate block from restaurant. Safe off street parking between the two buildings. We were made to feel very welcome. Our children shared a room and felt safe. Rooms seemed... More

We spent one night here as part of a cycling tour through the Loire valley. It was just what we needed - conveniently located between Cheverny and Chambord, garage space for the bikes, decent restaurant right opposite, a little terrace at the back for having drinks, powerful shower, and clean bright rooms.
