By shear good fortune, I found this charming B&B on the net and discovered a lovely and elegant Mde. De L'Eau, the Proprietor of this inn is a fountain of energy, grace and kindness. My wife, daughter and I thought we met a long-lost French relative, though neither of us are French. While we only stayed one night, we wished... More

We absolutely loved staying here. The room was super and Florence had gone to so much trouble with cot/changing station etc for our 3-month-old daughter. She was also incredibly helpful with suggestions of things to do in the local area, directed us to great towns and chateau's and a brilliant local vineyard as well as making it easy for us... More

I cannot begin to explain how lovely our stay was here. We travelled with our 2 children aged 5 and 9 and stayed in the 2 bedroom Vouvray Suite. The rooms were very large and were beautifully furnished. The bathroom was very modern and also very large. Our rooms had beautiful views over the garden and the stream. My childrens... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while we attended a wedding in Vernou and cannot speak highly enough of the welcome we received from Florence and family. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was delightful and we would definitely stay here again. Florence is an attentive and very friendly host. Breakfast was delicious especially the home made yogurt &... More

We stayed here for four nights after a couple of nights in Paris. We were given a lovely welcome from Florence who runs this B&B. She could not have been more helpful as we were travelling by train, she even gave us a lift a few times and took us to collect and return our hired bicycles. The place is... More

Stayed here for two nights whilst touring the Loire. The Mill is set in lovely grounds with a stream running through the mill trace. Florence made us very welcome and spoke excellent English. The breakfasts were ample and the home made yogurt delicious. Florence is a font of knowledge. We followed her suggestion and went for a typical French meal... More

For 140 euros for the family room for 2 adults + 2 children, breakfast included, I was expecting more than we got. What other people say about the people and the property is all correct - lovely. However, for over $200 / night at current exchange rate + fees for 3 nights, I don't expect to leave my clothes in... More

This is the answer of the father...very focus on his Ipad during his stay . Our place was not suitable for him , we are sorry for that but no need to be so negative and jealous. His wife was very charming and pleasant. We keep a good souvenir from this family. More

We stayed in their self-catering gite. The best self-catering we have rented! Clean and well equiped. The pool was fabulous and our kids even got to fish in the stream on site. The host was very helpful and cordial. The upstairs rooms also had airconditioning if you need it! Close to Amboise and centrally located to visit all the top... More
