This hotel is built into an old monastery, as far as I understood. The spa is very exciting since it is in the old chapel. The best memory I have from this hotel is the michelin star chef in the hotel owned restaurant. He is a true artist. Each dish is not only tasty on first sight - but it... More

My family and I just spent 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel exudes an aura of calm and wellness and the spa/ sauna area was lovely. The rooms were also very comfortable, clean and modern, unfortunately my husband and I had a room overlooking the circular driveway and one evening were disturbed by a delivery truck (I think) that... We have just returned from a 5 night break at this hotel. The food, service and cleanliness were of a very high standard as were the amenities. The spa was not particularly small and was not at all crowded. The free wifi, mountain bikes and walking poles were all a bonus. The area is very quiet and the food alternatives... More

We just spent four nights here with our two children and our Golden Retriever. It was the perfect four day getaway. The hotel is only three years old and the decor is modern and well integrated into the old Monastery structures. The food in the evening was fantastic. The spa area small but with large windows facing the forest. Missing... More

We have only good words for this hotel. I was there with my wife, and our 10-month old baby, so we were rather looking for a family-friendly hotel. This was indeed the case, but at the same time a high quality hotel. The hotel is in a former monastery, it is relatively new, in a very nice area for culture... More

We went to the Marienhoh Spa and Getaway for a family wedding. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the facilities and the attentiveness of the staff. Almost everyone spoke English and was very friendly. Dinner in the restaurant seemed somewhat overpriced but a quick trip to a nearby town offered many dining options. The breakfast buffet is excellent... More
