We went here for lunch 2years ago for my 50th while day tripping on a cruise, we were so impressed by the beauty of the place we decided to go back for my partners 50th last year. If you are looking for a simple, basic and beautiful island experience this is just the place. The bungalows are comfortable and scenic... More

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Oyster Island in Santo. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom family villa which was fantastic for our family of 5. It had a master bedroom with plenty of space and a 4 bed bunk room that was great for the kids. Big bathroom and living space with kitchenette. We were... More

We spent four nights on beautiful Oyster Island in wonderful Espiritu Santo. Oyster is what I would describe as a small boutique resort in a pristine location. Our Frangipani Bungalow number one was small and simple, but charming and comfortable enough for a short stay. The absolute waterfront location with view across the lagoon was simply stunning. Snorkelling at Midway... More

5 years ago we had an amazing stay on Oyster Island, and last month we returned to see if it was still as good. We were picked up on the "mainland" by the new and improved punt (sure beats the old dinghy!) We met both the owners who were returning to the island and their parents who were managing the... More

Oyster island is a small private island a short punt from the mainland. Room 8 was very clean and nice with an outdoor bathroom and deck over the water. The food was ok and service was excellent. The island has walking trails and takes 45 mins to walk around. There are a few gorgeous white sand beaches you can swim... More

We enjoyed a week on Oyster Island in a group of 23 family and friends in July. It was the perfect place to go with plenty of relaxation and activities such as snorkelling, kayaking, swimming and walking. The staff were amazing, especially organising all of us to do the Mt Hope waterfall experience together. We were in Bungalow 6 which... More

My family and I had three over water bungalows for 8 nights in late June. The island is beautiful with wonderful walking tracks and secluded beaches and snorkelling spots. The staff were wonderful and very friendly and would do anything possible to make your stay enjoyable. The use of kayaks and snorkel equip was handy to go and explore. The... More

Had a superb 3 days here, wished we had longer. Beautiful spot and freedom to wander the small island. Wonderful snorkelling spots, and we saw a couple of turtles, which was a real treat. Apparently common around there. So relaxing, staff really helpful, and had great tips of what to do if you ask. The Kayak to Matevulu blue hole... More

Loved the 5 days I spent here. Came for a rest and that's what I got. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful but with more than enough to keep you busy if you want to. Hibiscus rooms are small and basic but fine for one or two people. The only thing I missed having was a fridge. Staff couldn't have been friendlier... More
