we were on a week long discovery trip of cornwall and this place was our last call. on arrival we were immediately offered a choice of room, i.e. did we want a bath or shower and when we said shower we were upgraded to a superior room with both! We hadn't realised that we were booked in on a diner/bed&breakfast... More

We visited for a light lunch and enjoyed our sandwiches with freshly cooked, crispy chips. The view was lovely and it was very relaxing to sit on the patio overlooking the bay. We went inside to pay the bill and everywhere was very clean and fresh looking. The restaurant looked lovely and was well set out. We could see a... More

Smart comfortable rooms, cheerfull and efficient staff, particularly Gina and Thomas. Menus were varied daily with local produce and sea food.the view from the first floor bedroom was fascinating, particularly watching the fishermen on the beach. We will be returning! R&B VdP

Just returned from a few days in this fabulous hotel. The location is perfect, peace and tranquility envelopes you 24 hours a day. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotless, fresh with very comfortable beds, and ours had the most amazing view of the bay. Breakfast in the sunny conservatory was a... More

The Bay Hotel is very special for many reasons, not least for the care and attention given to the guests by Gina -with her lovely smile and unflappable nature- and her 'entourage', Meals were always a pleasure with excellent choices to suit anyone and locally caught fish delicious. The décor is lovely, with gorgeous pale shades, beautiful fabrics, pictures, and... More

Just returned from 7 night stay. Made very welcome. The sea suite is stunning, tremendous view, clean, spacious, comfortable and bathroom amazing. Would have liked a full length mirror and shaver point but very minor issues really. Food is to a very high standard, beautifully presented and good choice. Staff were very friendly. We felt like guests and not just... More

The Bay is a great smallish private hotel in a stunning setting. Coverack is a really beautiful place unspoiled by the commercialisation experienced so often elsewhere. The staff were really helpful and the restaurant very good. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would go every year if it wasn't for the fact we... More

Stayed here at the beginning of June in the Harbour Suite. Having suffered a recent bereavement I needed a quiet and tranquil stay. Gina and her family made sure I had a wonderful restful time. The room was fabulous, the food, as always, of superb quality and even the weather was very kind! I don't really know how anyone can... More

We enjoyed a lovely meal to celebrate my birthday. We received a warm welcome and very good service, even though they were very busy. There was a good choice on the menu and the food we had was well cooked and tasty. My husband said his prawn starter was the best he had ever had! It was a beautiful evening... More

Had a nice dinner in lovely surroundings last week (as on a family holiday in Coverack for a week) and decided to treat ourselves to meal there but shocked by how very expensive it is! I was so surprised by the price, for 2 courses it was over £28 and on the menu they have what I consider cheap meat... More
