The Bay is a comfortable family run period hotel on the seafront of quiet Coverack bay only a short distance from the beautiful Lizard Peninsula. We stayed in one of the small rooms at the top of the hotel which had lovely views and was close enough to the sea to hear the waves coming in at night with the... More

We called in for a morning coffee with a view to possibly returning to stay. We were welcomed and could have coffee with our dog on the terrace but not indoors. It was a bit chilly so we went indoors. the coffee was average with standard shop biscuits ( £5 for the 2 of us which is fair). The hotel... More

Stayed here for 1 night at the start of 8 days walking on the coastal path. Superb bay views. Nice garden for cream tea. Friendly reception. We were on DBB deal but you could mix and match your meal from different menus - however, you are asked to make your food choice well before evening meal time. Room on 2nd... More

Seemed rather uninspiring on arrival, and the room was up two flights of stairs and rather claustrophobic, and took the full force of a South Easterly gale. Though on the Lizard one should expect weather. The service and quality of the food more than compensated for any negatives, and I was very impressed with the freshness and quality of the... More

We had a great time here - admittedly helped by a complimentary upgrade to the fantastic harbour suite. Decent food - friendly staff - and judging by the way they seemed to know most of the other guests - some very loyal customers.

Recently arrived home having stayed at The Bay Hotel for seven nights for the third time – you have that ability to greet and treat us as friends but we always feel the customer – a unique ability. Food fantastic as usual and the team, Gina, Rick, Zoe, Peter, Aliana and of course Tomas – great service delivery. Be in... More

The Bay hotel is located in a lovely Cornish fishing village, its beachfront location, stunning views, fantastic freshly cooked food along with great hospitality make this a hotel not to be missed. Having stayed in many good hotels in Cornwall over the years I must rate the Bay Hotel as "The Best."

We booked a four night stay at The Bay after spotting the add in The Gardener magazine. We made our way down to Cornwall feeling hopeful and keeping an open mind. Coverack itself is a quiet cove with all we needed for our family. Nice beach, pub, a couple of decent restaurants and, of course, The Bay Hotel. The whole... More

We were taking a drive along the coast this morning and decided to stop for coffee at The Bay Hotel. What a wonderful surprise! The beautiful view, delicious coffee and service with a smile. This is a lovely little coastal town and we will definitely be back to stay overnight at The Bay.

Tried to make a booking but reception staff very unhelpful. Made to feel that we were doing them a favour by trying to book. Definitely would not suggest trying to stay here. Will look for alternative locally.

I believe that we did our best to help you find an alternative hotel nearby that would have had a sports lounge with sky sports, a large screen TV and offered late night dining. More
