It's ok but would only stay there if I really had to. I had a function to attend so had to. Door closes at midnight but 'the night manager carries the phone around with her so will let you in when you call'. Her phone must have been on silent the night we were calling..... It's the only place to... More

Didn't stay at the swan this time just had evening meal, as there is not a lot of choice in Leighton buzzard, thought it might have improved, but NO, it was very busy, with one child being allowed to climb all over the chairs and table next to us !,, ordered mixed grills (2) one well done, one medium, No... Just returned from an overnight stay here. The hotel staff on reception and in the pub (Weatherspoons) below were really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We arrived about 9.30pm and were booked straight into the room by a very helpful young lady on reception. The room was at the front of the hotel and we could hear... More

The building is fabulous and the welcome by the staff was exceptional. My wife and I were carrying our luggage and that of my 86 yr old mother. A member of staff came and took some luggage as soon as we entered. He showed my mother and wife to the lift and then I joined him at reception. He arranged... More

Trying to find accommodation for late November back in my old home town, I decided to stay in about the most historical building in the town. Room 208 was very comfortable- I'd booked for a single room but got a double. Very clean, including the en-suite. Interesting view through window towards countryside. Being on 2nd floor, along the side, I... More

Stayed at this Hotel last week. Really nice beds and big rooms with quality Linen. I stayed in a double room and good value at £62 a night. Its a Wetherspoons pub downstairs but one of the more characterful ones I have been in. Had breakfast which was also good value. Would definitely stay again.

Our room was really was good- and we would certainly use this place again. The pub itself was really busy and they needed more bar staff to be honest . The duty manager though was very good- found us a table when we arrived and later in the evening he looked after a customer with "issues" with real compassion- a... More

The room was clean and comfortable, we had breakfast but paid separately as this is cheaper than paying in advance, excellent value. Would recommend this hotel to anyone that is needing to stay in the town, the area is quite lively but no trouble

A Weatherspoon pub and hotel, pub itself not the best Weatherspoon's by far, difficult layout leads to crowding and lack of seating, not good for a hotel guest, also some of the bar staff were quite inefficient, getting orders wrong and chewing gum, not a pretty sight. Didn't eat there as too busy (however the Lancer pub further along the... More

Good points. Clean and relatively inexpensive. Booking via the Wetherspoons website was cheaper than via the hotel direct. Less good points. Noise of customers in courtyard, easily audible in our room, stopped at 10 minutes past midnight. The electrical system has a transformer which gave an annoying humming sound. The way to disable this is to take the card out... More
