Friendly staff welcomed us (a family with an one and a half year old boy) late at night. Everybody was very helpful. The room was spacious and fully equiped (including hairdryer). The garden is beautiful and the rates are OK. Breakfast is served between 7 and 9 (a little longer would have been nice for us). The selection of food... More

Thank you for a wonderful stay heading home after a holiday of offroad camping. Spacious tasteful 4 person room has all the comforts of home including comfortable beds, comfort seating, desk, heating blankets, satellite TV, kitchenette and shower bathroom. The beautiful garden leads to the hill behind and the walk up the rock face for a sunset view overlooking Springbok... More

We have stayed at the Old Mill Lodge a couple of times - always en route from Namibia to Cape Town. It has a fantastic garden, a friendly pooch and spacious and comfy rooms, oh yes and wi-fi. The rooms are nicely equipped - there is even a radiator and heating blankets for chilly nights. Owner and staff are very... More

After a long drive from Windhoek en route to Cape Town, we arrive in Springbok at the end of what seemed to be an ANC rally. We meander around the town looking for a place to stay. First stop from the highway was Mountain View …after seeing that the couple requesting accommodation was inter racial she (the owner) no longer... More

This was my 2 & 3rd visit to this guesthouse. (First and last night of trip). They are consistent in their service. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. Our group stayed in two of the family rooms: Kalkoentjiebos & Perdebos. Kalkoentjiebos (the room we stayed in) has one double bed, & 2 single beds. The sleeper couch is VERY... More

We stayed ay the lodge whilst participating in a mountain bike event. It was so nice to return to the green tranquility of the garden every afternoon. We needed to leave before breakfast each morning but we were given a generous box of breakfast. The host made one feel welcome booked our restaurant for us and made us feel at... More

After having been rudely turned away from a confirmed booking at Biesjesfontein B&B, we were lucky enough to get a room at Old Mill Lodge. Very friendly welcome, large rambling house with a new guest room wing as well. We chose a room in the old house, which had good wifi, very comfortable bed and everything we needed. Breakfast was... The lodge comprises beautiful old buildings in good condition. The welcoming sherry was a nice touch. I particularly liked the walk up the granite dome behind the lodge, which provides a lovely view of Springbok. The owner and manager were pleasant and helpful.

We stopped in Springbok to take a rest from the long roads - and the Old Mill Lodge proved to be a perfect place for doing this. The room was spacious and very quiet, the garden was beautiful, and the little walk up the hill right behind the house offered a nice view over town. The breakfast room is also... More

This guesthouse is set in an olde worlde fairytale garden where nooks, crannies and surprises abound. There is a pool to splash in should the heat of summer get to you. Behind the buildings is a huge rounded rock, well worth climbing for all round views of the town of Springbok. LOCATION: In town and within walking distance to shops,... More
