100 meters away there is a road where you might see a car once every five minutes. This is an old colonial style residence where due to the distance to Springbok, the only terms offered are Dinner bed and breakfast. This is definitely a place to stay for a few days and actually not drive the hire car for a... More

We are a retired French couple from Canada (Montreal) and traveled South Africa during 2 months renting 31 different lodgings. This one was # 14. This is 25 km outside Springbok in the desert. The plece is beautiful but very isolated. Huge and beautiful main house, nice and clean pool with long chairs. Cottage with 2 rooms and 2 full... More

We spent one night at Naries on our way up to Namibia and loved the place. We had room number 5 in the manor house - it completely surpassed our expectations. It was a very large room situated close to the dining room (but very private and quiet) also with external access. The bed was comfy the bathroom was spacious... More

Accomodation in the rondavels on the Mountain very extraordinary. Smal but beautiful game reserve. Dinner very low class. Thai green Chicken hard. Lambshank several time reheated, so driedout and hard, bag gravy

We stayed in one of the rondavels on the mountain and were deeply impressed. Perfect service, amazing landscape, fantastic ambiance and the feeling to be at a very special place. The dinner in the main house offered a very good quality - not a high end restaurant, but cooked and served with love and regarding they are offering a selection... More

This must be my best lodge to stay in Springbok Area. Beautiful Scenery, especially in flowering time! peaceful and quite! I came here with my fiance, who told the owner that we are having a romantic pre-engagement getaway. they did so much effort for us. made the room all pretty and romantic with candles and everything. and they did not... This is a lovely self catering cottage with beautiful walks and really great food. Our dinner was great, breakfast was very good- very nice fresh fruit salad and the omelets were great. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel very welcome. I will return!

Most probably we booked one of the best places to stay when you want to visit Namaqualand ... The reception could have been a bit 'warmer' though. The rooms are a bit basic but everything is clean and acceptable. The restaurant is a big, rather unpleasant room but the food is excellent and the wines are also very good. We... More

This is out in the country about 25 k from town. Springbok has several supermarkets and fuel stations. Our self catering modern bungalow was well equipped. It had 2 good sized bedrooms with en-suites. There’s plenty of space to relax, and it was quiet and completely dark at night. We had time to walk one of the trails from our... More

Though I might be a bit bias seeing I am from Springbok, I still would encourage travelers passing through Springbok or visiting to experience the flowers to book into Naries. The mountain suites are something else entirely compared to mundane guesthouse rooms. It's got a great view, exceptional indoor decorations and little touches that makes you smile. (for example chocolates... More
