We came late and could only stay a single night. But even so, Johann and Gudrun did their best to make the stay a remarkable one. The suite we got (we could actually choose between two connected ones) was huge, and the morning revealed fantastic rural views of endless fields. The B&B is part of a functioning agricultural farm that... More

This was a one night stay and very nice it was to. We arrived on a Sunday, when the restaurant is closed and were shown a selection of homemade meals in the fridge we could purchase - starters, main courses and puddings. The meal I had was delicious and was a welcome break from restaurant food we have been having.... More

We booked for one night only as a good stop point between Kruger and St Lucia in KZN. A wonderful spot in rolling farm hills with magnificent views and loads of peace and tranquility. We booked a very well appointed executive cottage which was furnished to a high standard and had lovely views from the patio area. The mezzanine level... More

Everything was perfect! Unfortunately we stayed there just for one night. Next time we definitely stay longer. The breakfast was just amazing, homemade bread offered and an broad choice of menus. The location is perfect in order to relax.

Absolutely superb! A convenient stopover between Jo'burg airport and the Battlefields, Drakensburgs or Swaziland. We stayed only 1 night several years ago and wished for more, so this trip we stayed for 2 nights and still wished for more! Lovely chalets, nice pool, peace and quiet, lovely surroundings (garden & farm), birds & animals, but most of all Gudrun's cooking... More

The rooms are well apportioned, with bar fridge, snacks, DELICIOUS dinner, coffee, tea and home made rusks, a deli if you do not want to tak eadvantage ofthe 4 course dinner. Beautiful... More

I stayed here with family for 4 nights in December 2014. The location is lovely, it is secluded and picturesque. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a really lovely stay, despite a few areas where we felt they dropped the ball al little. The food was delicious and was thoroughly enjoyed by all every night. We stayed... More

We stayed at Dusk to Dawn for 3 nights in January because we were interested in the German-speaking community in the area. The bed and breakfast is really beautiful and a great escape from hectic city life. A true breath of fresh air! Our room was called Egret's Nest. It was a very spacious apartment with a large covered balcony... More

Very nice accommodation. Did a small walk around the farm at sunset. Had a superb dinner with wine for a more than reasonable price! Out of all accommodations we ever had this one was one of or even the best we've ever had. A bit of a downside is again the internet connection which is only available around the reception... More
