We spent this last weekend at Little Milton on the Midlands Meander. It is situated in a glorious setting with cows, sheep and horses in close proximity. We spent many happy hours fishing and paddling in the dam. The cottage is well equipped and we had braai's outside and a cozy fireplace inside. The beds had electric blankets which was... More

As a very large family we had the opportunity to rent both cottages & the entire first floor on the house. The place was beautiful & the massive garden provided a great area for the children to run around & have plenty of fun. The cottages & rooms are beautifully decorated with warmth & staff are very friendly.

Friendly, down to earth without compromise on quality service. We were treated so well, Arlene, Barry and staff were very friendly they made us feel home away from home. I wish I could have stayed on few more days. I will definitely be coming soon. Thank you, thank you and thank you Arlene and Barry.

I wish we were spending more time here. It's BEAUTIFUL. Being so close to nature is refreshing. I feel well rested even though we're here for a wedding. The rooms are very comfortable. Hosts are awesome and accommodating. This type of experience is something that is felt, and can't be bought.

We stayed in the Surrey self catering cottage which was absolutely lovely. It is well appointed, spacious, and homely. It has a beautiful view down to the dam which is accessible via a short path. Our barbecues on the cottage patio at sunset with Super Rugby being played on the telly was awesome!

We stayed in the self catering cottage with another couple and our babies. The cottage was spacious, clean and had all we needed for a relaxing weekend. The surrounding garden is beautiful and the nearby dam and farms provide great sundown views. We will definitely go back again!

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of January 2015. We enjoyed our peaceful stay at Little Milton- which is close to Nottingham Road. There are many interesting places to visit in the midlands meandor whilst staying at Little Milton. What is also interesting was that we planned our getaway really late...the beaches were packed...and so... More

My husband and I stumbled upon Little Milton during our drive through the Midlands. We had no reservations and couldn't believe our luck. A beautiful, peaceful setting after a long drive. Arlene and Barry were the best part however. They made excellent suggestions of places to go and Arlene was on the phone, helping with reservations for our next stop.

I was blessed enough to be able to spend a few days at Little Milton in May and had a fabulous stay. Arlene and Barry are the best host and hostess anywhere. My room was so nice and the food fantastic. The views from the veranda are breath-taking and the sunsets are the prettiest anywhere. I sure hope to return... More
