Wonderful short break; first class hospitality; superb breakfast and lovely room ; quiet and peaceful yet ideally situated for exploring the local area. Joyce and Ray made you feel like part of the family and their local knowledge was great in helping find good places to visit / eat /explore. Highly recommended.

Four of us stayed for 2 nights in June and enjoyed perfect weather, perfect hospitality from perfect hosts in a truly wonderful setting nestling at the foot of the Brecon Beacons. Having only three spacious and airy rooms means you enjoy personal attention from hosts Joyce and Ray who have a happy knack of making you feel at home. Breakfast... More

A beautiful home in a a wonderful setting. Spacious beautifully furnished rooms with large comfortable lounge for evening relaxation. Breakfast with freshly baked bread, fresh fruit with traditional breakfast if required. Very friendly host and hostess. Nothing could be faulted. Good to use the large spacious car park.

We stayed at the Granary for three nights for the Hay Festival. It was a spacious and civilised retreat from all the mud - in a lovely position up a lane, with great breakfasts, a really comfortable room and very helpful hosts.

My husband and I needed to be based near the mountains to enjoy three days of walking. We stayed in 'Autumn' which was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Our welcome was very friendly and we received a well needed cuppa with home-made scones after a day walking. We were recommended to dine nearby at 'The Castle' in Llangorse, so good that... More

The room was exceptional, beautifully appointed and comfortable. The building is a beautifully renovated and a pleasure to be in. The breakfast was delicious, and the hosts, Joyce and Ray,... More

The granary is well-situated for exploring the Black Mountains and/or Brecon Beacons. The hosts, Joyce and Ray, are very attentive and respond readily to particular queries or requests. Rooms are comfortable, very well stocked, and quiet at night. (Just ask them to turn the clock chimes off if you don't want them! Joyce and Ray will oblige without any fuss.)... More
