Dear visitor, we are back from staying 4 days in the Beacon Brecon and stayed in the Old Radnor Barn in Talgarth. Stephen and Lynne made us feel at home and where very guest friendly. Our purpose was a mountain bike trip and for this the hotel was perfect. 4 tracks start right at the public parking next to the... More

What a lovely Barn, very well looked after and the Hosts were great, felt like close family, really made you welcome...But the best was to come..The Welsh Breakfast was amazing, it tasted so fresh and local produce was used. This is a must stay if visiting the area for various activities

Lovely place and very welcoming host. After a few days of camping at the Black Montain gliding club, my boyfriend and I had enough of freezing nights in the tent. Especially me! I really wanted to stay somewhere nice, warm and clean. We had been recomended this place by a friend so we have decided to give it a try.... More

Stayed here whilst on a training course - we had food there in the evening too. Good food, comfortable place to stay - I really liked it. Lots of character - nice friendly hosts.

Excellent place to stay with a few good road & mountain bike routes close by, starting route in Car Park opposite. Fantastic breakfast choice & friendly owners. Stayed 2 nights over a weekend. Short 10min drive into Brecon where there is a selection of nice restaurants. Rooms were clean & weren't cramped. Only downside was there was no where to... More

Stayed for 4 nights while exploring/hiking the national park. Reception from the lovely owners, was superb, came out to greet us. They had gone out of their way to have our room ready early. Cooked Breakfast was included in the price (unlike a more expensive spa hotel near by, that charged £4~ each), great selection, catered for Veggies. The room... More

Stayed for a family reunion. Welcoming couple and convenient location. Breakfast hearty and locally sourced. Although we had a good stay I wonder in retrospect about the star rating. If it is for facilities well maybe. But the place had a tired look overall. Maybe a refresh of the bedding and entertainment facilities is due. No reflection on th hospitality... More

We have recently returned form spending two nights in Talgarth, near Brecon in Wales, staying at the Old Radnor Barn B and B. We were given an M&S gift voucher to stay in a B and B in a National Park and chose this as we'd never been to this area before. Steve and Lynne, who run the B and B,... More
