I had an absolutely wonderful stay. It was as if I'd entered a secluded paradise. I hadn't seen anything that beautiful, ever. The pool was amazing. It was so nice to see it incorporated into the naturlal surroundings so well. The staff around were so friendly and positive. It really reset my mind and that was exactly what I needed.... More

Stayed 3 nights with a baby. The location is off the beaten path yet also close to Fajardo and San Juan. It was easy to get around and as stated before, Barbara does a splendid job of providing a fridge full of snacks and nice amenities. This place is truly unique with what ended up being our own private mountain... More

A very out of the way location to unplug from civilization. The private pool is actually part of a running mountain stream with all the amenities needed for an Eden like picnic. The casita Zumbador is a cute little cottage with a nighttime orchestra of frogs and critters outside. Barbara is a wonderful host who is happy to make her... More

I spent hours researching places to stay in PR and could not get excited about any of them. When I finally found Casa Picaflores and they had openings I was literally giddy. Then I got concerned that how I imagined it to be would not be the reality and I would be disappointed. When we got there, I realized it... More

This place is amazing. There's a stunning natural swimming pool that's made of rock and has mountain water flowing into it. There are trees with bananas, star fruit, passion fruit, etc. that you can help yourself to. There's a tilapia pool...the fish are beautiful and you are more than welcome to feed the fish. Our toddler had a blast on... More

This is a beautiful, well furnished, set of beautiful lodges set in El Yunque. We stayed in La Cabana which is open air, facing the large pond, was clean, extremely well furnished like you would find in high end resorts & very cute. The bathroom was nice with open air monsoon shower. The bed was comfortable & had a mosquito... More

I'm from Puerto Rico, and I didn't know this place existed in my island. Always thought I will have to go to Europe to find a place like that. You can even snack in the nature of this place with all the fruit trees there are in there.

This was the best vacation my husband and I have ever had! And Casa Picaflores made it that way. Breathing in the perfumed air, listening to the coqui frogs and birds at night, sitting by the natural pool, taking time away from tv, cell phone and internet (if you want to do without is easy). Barbara, the owner knows all... More

Best 3 weeks ever! Casa picaflores is a very special place to check out of your usual routines, to really get away. Here you will find the time you need in the most amazing oasis to really unwind. Here you will find an "alberga" (fresh water swimming pool that fills up with spring water), fruit of all kinds to pick... More
