This ecolodge was the perfect stop after visiting the bigger cities of Brazil. We arrived in the early evening after a bit of a harrowing journey from Porto Allegre. It's about a 3 hour drive if you don't get lost....we did but as long as you're not afraid of a few dirt and cobblestone roads it is fine. There's a... More

As soon as you walk into this place you can tell that the owners love making it a special place and have spent a long time perfecting all the details. A lot of effort has gone into making it cozy, comfortable and unique. The "tents" are beautiful and tasteful, the bed is fantastically comfortable and all the details have been... More

This is a pleasure to make this evaluation. We had the pleasure to be in this fantastic place to spend some time of our family vacations. The hotel has independent lodges, in different sizes and level of comfort. We took one with double bed plus an additional one for our daughter, with restroom and a jacuzzi. We fight from Rio... A very different concept, really nice tents with a good touch of sofistication, staff is great from the reservation system until the ones at the property. Great food service, breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily. Chef's menu for Lunch and Dinner great options.

Totally recommended. If you have the chance go for the bigger tents. Really nice, nice staff, a bit pricey.

Excellent lodge. The most sophisticated of region and maintained with great care by the administration of the Hotel Casa da Montanha from Gramado/RS/Brazil. To get there is difficult, but worth. The tents are comfortable and offer everything which a good hotel offers. The suites are fantastic, with bath on balcony, where you can take a romantic bath by candlelight, watching... More
