I stayed at Parador Casa da Montanha during a road trips with friends through Southern Brazil. This place is truly special. It is a luxury tented camp situated above a river and a very beautiful landscape. The tents were very well appointed with a personal hot tub on the deck, good toiletries, cute (if somewhat kitschy) wallpaper, complementary cheese and... More

One need to understand why the Parador Casa da Montanha is so nice and mostly different from any lodging in Brazil. The hotel is owned by a turism entrepeneur with a vast experience with African Safaris. Mr Luciano brought his African experience and he built the fancy tents based on African finest lodges. Originally they had only fancy heated tents... More

Would never imagine find a place like that in that location! Like a posh camping in Africa...comfortable...excellent rooms....beautifully decorated.... View fantastic from our veranda....sauna... Dinner was delicious...and breakfast....definitely a good choice.

The employees are very easygoing and help guests a lot. There's a lot of activities to do around but, everyone is little bit expensive. If you are going by car, keep in mind that there's around very difficult 8 Km road just before reach the place.

This ecolodge was the perfect stop after visiting the bigger cities of Brazil. We arrived in the early evening after a bit of a harrowing journey from Porto Allegre. It's about a 3 hour drive if you don't get lost....we did but as long as you're not afraid of a few dirt and cobblestone roads it is fine. There's a... More

As soon as you walk into this place you can tell that the owners love making it a special place and have spent a long time perfecting all the details. A lot of effort has gone into making it cozy, comfortable and unique. The "tents" are beautiful and tasteful, the bed is fantastically comfortable and all the details have been... More

This is a pleasure to make this evaluation. We had the pleasure to be in this fantastic place to spend some time of our family vacations. The hotel has independent lodges, in different sizes and level of comfort. We took one with double bed plus an additional one for our daughter, with restroom and a jacuzzi. We fight from Rio... I went there with my wife to celebrate 6 years of marriage, we just stayed 1 night arriving around 2 pm, we bought outside the hotel some groceries for a pick-nick because we saw the place is amazing for it, they offered a basket and accessories for the pick-nick that was amazing since the view is cool in every spot... A very different concept, really nice tents with a good touch of sofistication, staff is great from the reservation system until the ones at the property. Great food service, breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily. Chef's menu for Lunch and Dinner great options.

Totally recommended. If you have the chance go for the bigger tents. Really nice, nice staff, a bit pricey.
