We stayed here for 3 nights in July and would definately come back although for a few days rather than a week. The only reason being the expensive and limited choice in the restaurant. We were happy to eat there for the first 2 nights but wanted a change for the third night so tried to arrange a taxi to... More

Finding it may be tricky, and its sorrounding are shabby and poor. But when you get to its first gate the scenery changes completely! It's a 5 stars: be prepared to spend more than 200€ per night. Ask directly to them, you may get a better quotation than booking systems. But it's a perfection in all aspects: the wind and... More

Wonderful, peaceful and marvellous luxury hotel in the widest fig trees plantation of Europe. Our room was upgrated and we had the chance to stay in the most beautiful suite of the hotel. Dream swimmingpool, quiet, excellent service, simple, polite but not obsequious. Excellent restaurant with relativ high prices compared to other good restaurants of the region (PRIMO in Otranto) but... More

We came here right after our wedding in August 13. We told the hotel about it and they upgraded us to the nicest suite of the hotel. Huge, perfectly decorated, amazingly confortable... cherry on the cake: they provide Hermès soap and bodycare which I love. I woud highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to visit Puglia and will certainly... More

WOW – the Tenuta Firnirussi BLEW US AWAY! It is absolutely beautiful. This is exactly what you would expect from a 5star hotel, if not more! All staff from cleaning, front desk to breakfast were extremely attentive – they did not miss a thing. Our son had a sofa come bed to sleep on (very comfortable) but to prevent him... More

Set in the centre of a fig plantation the modern farmhouse has a very modern appearance with a very comfortable lounge area leading to a restaurant. the rooms are detached from the main block having individual entrances and a secluded patio area at the rear with sun beds. the rooms are very comfortable and the bed soft for a great... We stayed at the Furnirussi for 4 nights on a weeklong holiday to Puglia. This was the 1st time that both my partner and I started looking at options of leaving early after day 2. We knew the place was secluded and that we were going off season, but that is not the problem as that's what we were looking... More

We spent a few days here and loved the place. It's some way from any village or town, which meant wonderful peace and quiet, with a setting surrounded by the hotel's own fig plantations. Beautifully designed in contemporary and quite minimalist style, with lots of classy touches and details: the owners have really thought about what they want to achieve.... More

We stayed here for one week in July 2013. The hotel was easy to find with the help of the navigation system, check-in worked smoothly and we really liked the spacious room, the new furniture and the private patio right in front of our room. The only drawback - and the reason why I cannot give 5 points here -... More

Whilst the rooms, restaurant and staff were all excellent there were few feel-good factors. The turn-down bedservice was almost non-existent, there was no bar to go to whilst at the poolside or before dinner. There was a bar service but you had to find a waiter to ask for a drink. The most annoying part was that there was an... More
