Having spent two nights at Tranquility Lodge with my husband and friends, it was the relaxation we all needed! The rooms were cosy, fresh and comfortable. Upstairs there was a 'community lounge' were we could all sit around the fire and enjoy the wine and music. Jason, thank you so much for your scrumptious meal! It was lovely to meet... More

The tranquility lodge in my eyes is aptly named, as it's located in the very tranquil nature's valley and offers a nice and quiet place (if no other guests are partying). The room I had wasn't very big, but adequate and had a very nice private outdoor space to spend the evening with a glas of wine and maybe a... More

Stayed one night. Ground floor room was small (not much space around the bed) but adequate, the room also had a private outdoor space which was closed off from the other guests. Most of the other rooms had a similar arrangement from what I could see. The room had all of the usual conveniences but no bath. The pool and... More

Wonderful and truly tranquil inn in a beautiful setting! My wife and I felt very well looked after by all the staff and particularly enjoyed the marvelous 3 course dinners (4 star chef on site!!) and opulent breakfasts!

We cut our "tranquil" experience short after being subjected to continual noise and dust from contractors working on the green swimming pool. The stagnant pool caused a mosquito infestation throughout the Lodge and we had no mosquito nets to protect us. Our room was so small we were under continual insect attack with no means of escape. Luckily our agents... More

We stayed at the lodge after walking the otter trail with our adult children and it was just the place to catch our breath for the next adventure. What was nice about our rooms were the large private outside areas where we could dry out all our wet and dirty hiking gear. I also really enjoyed the hot pool, just... More

We stayed at Tranquility Lodge for 4 nights in Feb 2014 on our way from PE to Cape Town. It was absolutely perfect for what we wanted, a very comfortable base to relax, do some hiking and go to the beach. The room has it's own separate area for sitting outside on, where we essentially relaxed after hiking. around Nature's... More

We stayed in the lodge's honeymoon suite the first few days of our honeymoon. The suite is beautiful; modern and spacious. Very friendly service. Staff gave us lots of privacy. Only negative is that it does not have any view of the sea; but one can hear it and its only a few minutes walk to the beech.

We had the luxury room. It was far too small given the price tag. Bedside lights scorch the skin if you are unlucky enough to make contact with them. Breakfast on the stingy side. Jason was a pleasant host, however. Restaurant next door served great food!

we stayed here between 2 5-day hikes (tsitsikamma and otter trail), and truely appreciated this quiet and comfortable place. A few highlights (which gives them the 5star rating); - excellent kitchen for BF and dinner, - fantastic service, whatever you need, the staff will help out - great situation, close t the beach, at the end of the quiet village...
