Just returned from a two week Saga holiday in Croatia and stayed at the President for four nights. A really luxurious hotel, huge bedrooms and massive outdoor pool all beautifully kept. the hotel situation is a bit isolated but an easy bus ride into Split which is a very interesting city. The buffet food was a bit limited in choice... More

Hotel President in Solin is a very good hotel but there is not much in the area around it. It has the feel of an old style Grand Hotel and is very well furnished and immaculately clean. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable and are all efficiently air-conditioned. The members of staff all speak English. The dining room is... More

This hotel is situated just a bit out of Split center (10 minute drive), but it is closer to the airport then Split and to the new Aquarium. Solin city where the hotel is situated (basically it is connected to Split) is lovley, great park, bridges, green...Relaxing! Rooms are big and modern, the whole hotel as well and the coolest... Great place to stay, new management team with a lot of improvement. Rooms are amazingly wide and fully furnished, the outdoor simply amazing, is the first one I can see so big, about 25m by 35m and deep as 2m, very nice. Spa services are complete, they even have an "Egyptian massage" whoaaa and really surprising. Thanks to all, will... More

Elegant and magnificent place. Rooms were spacious, bed was large enough so my wife and I would not become entangled when moving around. Wifi was excellent. There was a small fitness area which was sufficient if needed. Desk staff was helpful and friendly. The town is not terribly interesting though. We were there for three days visiting a therapy conference.

A Saga holiday meant a week's stay at the Hotel President in Solin, a small town a short distance from Split in Croatia. The hotel is a large building a short walk from the little town itself, via a walk across the park, and across a small footbridge over a narrow river. The hotel entrance is imposing, the entrance hall... More

This is a very nice comfortable hotel with lovely large clean rooms. Service is excellent with good dining. It is locally rated as 5* and does deliver particularly by Croatian standards. I would only recommend it for a short stay as the location does not have much to offer apart from being near the river. There are a few places... More

We stayed here for four nights on a Titan tour. The room is large, as is the bathroom, well planned and very clean. Food was plentiful and well cooked. The small church nearby is worth a visit. There are a few small shops and a post office across the bridge, and the park is a pleasant area for an evening... More

Stayed for two nights on Titan tour in order to visit Split and see ancient Roman Palace. Room on floor 3 was large and well appointed but in the eaves so no balcony. This turned out to be fortunate as we were not disturbed by a wedding party that went on till 5am and did disturb those on lower floors... More

Like the previous review we had a wedding one night which kept us awake until 5am. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but the food in the restaurant is indifferent, the shuttle bus never ran and there are inadequate longers around the pool and no parasols. Breakfast should be until 10.00 but the buffet was never replenished after 9.00.
