This is a very pleasant upmarket hotel situated in the suburbs of Solin. Part of a 'Jewels of Croatia' holiday with 'Saga'. Wonderful rooms but no tea making facilities. Stayed four nights, which was plenty, before moving on. Good food and service. Saga bar a little disappointing. No international brands. Beautiful indoor pool with health and spa facilities plus nail bar.... More

At first glance this hotel seems to have it all - a lavish lobby with chandeliers, large rooms with antique looking furniture, spacious bathrooms with two sinks and a power shower as well as a large outdoor pool and indoor spa facilities. However, I found after the initial "wow" factor had worn off that this hotel left a lot to... More

My first Saga holiday! My 'single' room was palatial with 2 large beds, plenty of hanging space, a fridge, safe, jacuzzi bath and shower. I had a super view of the gorgeous church and bell tower. However ...... Be warned! With the lovely view comes church bells - every hour, on the hour. I didn't mind, but I can sleep... More

The hotel is in a quiet and attractive location in a suburb of Split, closer to Trogir which is a delightful place. On entering the hotel you see the grand staircase. On was in a spacious and comfortable room on the top [3rd] floor. The bathroom was quite large with 'spa' shower and twin vanity basins. There was a large... More

A very smart 5* hotel, reception and rooms very well fitted. A lovely furnished bar area restaurant too but sadly the food was not 5* Nicely situated to visit the lovely town of Trogir, our favourite place visited, next to Dubrovnik. Also very convenient for Split and the Airport. Lovely indoor and outdoor pools with plenty of room for relaxing... More

A fine hotel offering well sized rooms, good food and excellent service. It also boasts a " wellness suite" and an Olympic size swimming pool. More of an "adult" establishment with little to offer kids. Staff very efficient if perhaps less than friendly, although we did go at end of season so they were probably a little weary.

This is an outstanding hotel - you will love it! Great rooms, impressive lobby, nice restaurant and above all - great wellness! We stayed for 5 nights and I used wellness services every day. They offer a great variety of treatments - I even had an Egyptian massage (a therapist using legs!). Definitely recommend it. Further, I enjoyed two outside... More

Just returned from a two week Saga holiday in Croatia and stayed at the President for four nights. A really luxurious hotel, huge bedrooms and massive outdoor pool all beautifully kept. the hotel situation is a bit isolated but an easy bus ride into Split which is a very interesting city. The buffet food was a bit limited in choice... More

Hotel President in Solin is a very good hotel but there is not much in the area around it. It has the feel of an old style Grand Hotel and is very well furnished and immaculately clean. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable and are all efficiently air-conditioned. The members of staff all speak English. The dining room is... More
