We spent three nights at YMH in Namche during our EBC trek – two on the way up (we had an acclimatisation day in Namche) and one on the way down. The location is stunning. It's high up on the hill in Namche overlooking the entire town. It was quite a struggle getting up there when we first arrived, being... More

My husband and I had been trekking for over a week from the walk in from Jiri and staying in very simple tea houses for about $1-$3 per night. We decided, however, we'd like a bit of a splurge for 2 nights in Namche Bazaar for a bit of R&R before heading up to Gokyo and then onto Mera Peak.... More

If you want the highest degree of comfort available while trekking in Nepal, you should stay at the Yeti Mountain Home lodges. If comfort is not a priority, there are several other options: less substantial lodges, camping, teahouses, etc., but you won't find the clean conditions, private toilet and shower, hot water, electric blankets, and great service like YMH provides.... Thank you very much for precious feedback. We are very delighted that you enjoyed your stay and our services.I know how hard it is to trek from Phading to Namche for more than 6 hours and the steep trail as you ascend to Namche.I knew a free massage for your team would be a great treat and so wanted to give... We spent three days at this lodge as part of a 9 day trek during which we stayed only at YMH lodges. All of them are outstanding but this one is one of the most interesting and nicest. Start with the spectacular view from the front of the lodge, the dining room, and the beautiful lounge. Then, the staff who... More

this is one lodge in my trek to Everest Base Camp which I would rate as best. There is a reading lounge where breakfast is served with a warm heater in the centre of the room. The rooms are a quite dark but otherwise beds are comfortable, ans showers work. This was a welcome lodge after completing the Everest Marathon,... More

My husband and I stayed here two nights during our trek and ate here a third day on our way back to Lukla. The rooms are nice and the staff are very friendly. As in all the lodges, it gets cold at night, but you have an electric blanket and hot water which makes a difference. The food here was... More

My title refers to the fact that we stayed in six Yeti Mountain Homes and all were great. This was the second. It was such a relief to reach this home at the top of the very steep stairs and to be met with a warm clean towel and hot lemon drink. Again - exceptional food, exemplary service, kindness and... Second of 4 Yeti Mountain Lodges that we stayed at. Staff at all the lodges are very friendly, greeting you with a hot wet towel and lemon tea when you arrive. There was only 1 other guest in the lodge so the common areas were only heated during dinner so by 8pm were chased to our room by the cold.... More

Stayed 2 nights as part of a YMH trek. Smiling, helpful staff. Good food. Plenty of tea (many varieties) and hot water. Warm lounge and dining room (heated by wood burners), electric fire in room, electric blanket on the bed. The lodge is otherwise unheated - so cold in November. Everywhere was very clean. Our YMH guide organised the usual... More
