We'd never heard of Bandos Island but were steered there by a Maldives travel agency. "Good call" would be an understatement. Just returned from a 2 week stay on Bandos Island and had a great time. The island is just as all of the photo's of the amazing Maldivian islands - narrow beaches, palm trees, clear blue sea....... We had a deluxe room and this was great - 4 poster bed, huge bathroom with wet room style shower and spotlessly clean.... more

This was an expensive holiday and we went half board, we didn't expect to need much money to spend but everything was so expensive, for example a single (thimble) of vodka with pineapple juice was $9.50, a caraffe of wine was $25, the trips were good fun especially the night fishing which we loved, we took our 2 girls fishing... more

My husband and I chose Bandos Island to spend our honeymoon for a week - could only take a week as I work in a school - and what a shame as I'd go back there tomorrow. We completely chilled out on the beautiful beach every day and visited the Sand Bar at night. The food didnt let us down... more

Having just returned from 10days staying on a standard room right near the beach we were very pleased with the island, the walk to the restuarants was good the walk to the sundowner bar was just a few steps are from our room.
