wonderful host, amazing countryside, fun wine tastings and clean abode...all in all, a great place to stay while in Burgandy, France. We traveled to Dijon, which was very interesting -- has a very a cosmopolitan main street with lots of history.

We spent a week at this lovely little Gite, as part of our honeymoon. It was the highlight of our trip. The views of all the surrounding vineyards are beautiful and the small garden which looks out on to the view was full of raspberries and cherries and other fruit in season (which we were allowed to pick and eat).... It's impossible to know what goes on in the secret courtyards, behind shuttered windows and doors, of the endless villages of Burgundy. One of those secrets though is open to you at Le Clos do Abbaye, in the remote but accessible village of Saint-Sernin-du-Plain. This is a great place to base one's self when exploring the Grand Cru wine route.... More

We spent a week in the two bedroom gite. A lovely quiet village with fabulous views from a splendid garden. Veronique is highly knowledgeable and helpful ensuring a great experience- . The table d'hote was fantastic and allowed us to meet the other guests - a really enjoyable part of our stay. The only downside was the lack of any... More

Recently my wife and I stayed with Vero at her lovely B&B in Burgundy, about 1/2 hour southwest of Beaune. Sublime countryside surrounds this wonderful property; another real plus here is the owner, who makes you feel warm, welcome and special. Sumtuous breakfast (+eating peaches right off the tree!) were only surpassed by the table d' hotes served to guests... More

Without any doubt the property is nice, quiet, has excellant views and is neat and well maintained. We had rented the appartment for six people, which was very good, two bedrooms, one with additional double bed for kids, two bathrooms, one is near the kitchen and not in-room. The coffee machine was not clean- some mildew on the coffeee rests... More

If your motivation is to soak up the true essence of Burgundy Wine Country, this Bed and Breakfast is as good as it gets. The host was charming; spoke great English, offered many helpful suggestions, knows intimately the entire area, provided excellent breakfast choices, and made sure every need was met. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was... More

We were very happy with our two-night stay at this B&B. Host/owner, Veronique, was helpful from the beginning of the booking process (email); welcoming on our arrival and very thoughtful with suggestions on how to spend our days in the area. On our first night, all guests at the B&B dined in and Vero whipped up a delicious dinner accompanied... More

A lovely place in the countryside, surrounded by beautiful vineyards. The hostess was very friendly and service minded. The local restaurant was also a delightful surprise. This is a lovely place if you would like to spend some time relaxing in the beautiful and quiet rural France. The only disadvantage is that it is a bit off the beaten track,... More
