Cienbalcones is within the walled, historic centre of the town. It has a lovely traditional courtyard and the rooms are large and have been upgraded to a high standard. We had a very good breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant-very good food, wine at a reasonable price. Service was always, polite helpful.

I sent two days in Daroca by business. Cienbalcones Hotel, placed in the Main Street, is close to all the sights of town and has a pretty courtyard. I had a large, quiet, clean room. Breakfast buffet was a bit poor. Staff was so friendly. This hotel is a good choice as a base to visit the county and Gallocanta.

Staff- reception, kitchen and bar all ready to help and can't praise enough. Accommodation-modern, higher spec than I expected for the euros, clean and very comfortable bed. On suite just right and loved both my views as I stayed both outward and return journeys. Bar and restaurant food good, limited menu available written in English - best to do your... More

This is our second visit. It was recommended by a friend who works in Daroca. We visit nearby Gallocanta to see the Grey cranes.the rooms are spacious with firm wide beds.Owners very efficient. We enjoyed the dinners very much. We are looking forward to return.

Our stay at this hotel was a stopover on our return from a trip to England but what a beautiful retreat. Really beautiful medieval village and such a surprise when you walk into the courtyard of this hotel. The rooms are excellent and overall the experience of stopping here was a highlight of our trip.

Daroca was a surprise to us-- a lovely medieval village with gorgeous churches and houses, nice shops and even a good patisserie/chocolate maker. The Cienbalcones is a wonderful small hotel set right in this village. Several things recommend this hotel. The rooms are large and have numerous windows overlooking the central courtyard. The bathroom is large with nice amenities. The... More

We stayed here en-route from France to Alicante. The staff were very welcoming and the room, although a little basic, was clean and comfortable. There was free wi-fi. Our room looked out over a central courtyard, with the bar and restaurant below. It was a little noisy late on in the evening as families with their children came to eat.... More

We use this hotel as a stopover to and from south east Spain and we have never had less than a very good experience. We always have a double superior room; OK more expensive than the standard double but still very good value when one considers the price includes an excellent continental buffet breakfast. The standard double rooms are fine... More

We stopped here on route from Bilboa ( approx 4 hours) the hotel is fantastic value. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. There is a lovely courtyard in front of the restaurant and bar which also serves snacks etc. we went for the set menu in the restaurant which was really good offering a choice of 4 starters, main... We were recommended this hotel as a stop over to Santander. We found the hotel without any problems (no one way system). The car park took much longer to find, but not a problem as the receptionist spoke English and was very helpful. Nice hotel, rooms clean and overlooked the courtyard. Unfortunately there was a thunderstorm just after we arrived... More
