We stayed here in October of 2013. The grounds are simply stunning, the service not flash nor amazingly refined, but in keeping and exemplary. The food each night was superb and we really felt it was authentic. Paul couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful, organising excellent excursions and trips. He has found a few very good drivers, guides and... More

Loved Kasbah Angour - a lovely spot high on a hill with beautiful views of the snow capped High Atlas Mountains (between October and May; it melts after that). All you can hear are the birds. Very nice rooms, with authentic Moroccan rugs, paintings, ceramics etc. Food was delicious, freshly made to order. In March it was warm enough to... More

We stayed at the Kasbah which is architecturally interesting, has wonderful views and a beautiful garden and is very peaceful. Paul the owner is very welcoming and goes out of his way to be helpful in planning day trips and there are varied options, the walking is magnificent. It is such a shame the pool isn't heated as it looks... More

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about our hotel. There are usually blue skies and sunshine in the South of Morocco, so you were unlucky to have a couple of days of rain. In the cooler months, we have under-floor heating to keep our guests warm at night and when the sun is not shining. Thus the open fires in... More

We arrived at Kasbah Angour after 3 days hard travelling. Paul welcomed us and we soon settled into the place, a time to relax and chill out before returning to Blighty. We had operation visit village and a swim in the unheated pool. Food was good and Berber eggs for breakfast all in all a good second visit. Only 40... More

A loverly hotel, with friendly helpful staff. It's a little remote which is fine if you want to going walking or laze by the pool, if not there's not really anything to do near by. We went with a group to do yoga which worked out great, and I understand that there are plans to build a Hamman. The (English)... More

We ve spent the last 4 days in Marrakech , inside the Medina at a wonderful Riad Dar Charkia owned and run by Lisa and Michael. At their recommendation for a good lunch and day outside the City we visited Kasbor Angor. We went on a relatively gentle 6 mile trail with Mustafa ( a friendly Berber guide arranged by... More

Hey guys. Stopped here for a brief visit. Our riad (Dar Sharkia) in Marrakech book a visit and we were not disappointed. A short trail hike was organised for us. Our guide was Mustafa and a great lad to have around on the hike. On our return we had a three course meal, fantastic. We never stayed over night but... More

We had a wonderful few days here before braving the bustle of Marrakech, but finding this hotel so well located - near the airport but also 40 minutes drive from Marrakech, we'd stay here and just make day trips to the city another time. Like other reviewers we enjoyed the peace and beauty of the location and the opportunity for... More

We really enjoyed a few days at the Kasbah Angour last year. Superb accommodation (own patio to sunbathe in), very high standard traditional Moroccan dining each night and great organised trips (for us a guided walk into the hills, camel ride and a 4 by 4 drive up into the mountains). Paul and his team were really friendly and helpful... More

Its hard to believe this property was only built a few years ago. As a structure it blends perfectly into the local landscape and inside some of the detailing is fantastic - most of it done by local craftsmen. The views are spectacular, on one side looking across the lovely gardens to the snow capped peaks of the Atlas and... More
