This was the second of 3 hotels we stayed in on a recent visit to Marrakech and the only place we were unhappy with. See separate reviews for Les Jardins De La Medina and Majorelle Gardens,Marrakech and Hotel L'Heure Bleu in Essaouria which were all fantastic. We chose this hotel as a change from the hustle of Marrakech, but were... More

After three crazy days in Marrakesh I can't think of a better environment to totally relax and hide yourself away from the stresses of life. Kasbah Angour is a credit to the owner who has done an excellent job of sympathetically building in a traditional style that blends in beautifully with the incredible landscape. I also love the fact that... More

We visited Kasbah Angour for 2 nights in May as a group of 5 friends and we were blown away, its absolutely beautiful, we arrived and were shown around by the owner Paul who has painstakingly re-created this replica of a Berber castle to the highest standards using local materials and workmanship, the rooms were very well equipped and comfortable... We stayed at the Kasbah Angour with our friends who had stayed before. We had spent four days in the busy centre of Marakesh and didnt know anything about the Kasbah until we arrived. WOW...the Kasbah was the dream of owner Paul who is available to speak to most days and explain how he developed the land and what his... More

Had a fews days here earlier in the month and couldn't really fault it. Not sure what previous comment is about as sounds like a different place, food was good and very good value for this standard hotel, cheaper if you eat in the streets of Marrakech of course. Lunch and dinner menus varied each day you need to remember... More

We arrived at Kasbah Angour with very hish expectations after reading the amazing reviews it had. The rooms aren’t cheap and for the price one would expect very good facilities and service. In my opinion it doesn’t quite deliver. Angour does have many nice features such as - Nice grounds and gardens - Excellent views and access to the mountains... More

Thank you for posting your observations. We were disappointed that you only classed us as “average” so studied your comments to help us review the “Kasbah Angour experience”. We offer very comfortable accommodation and good friendly service but have chosen not to follow the “international chain hotel experience” too closely. The majority of our guests appear to appreciate this approach... More

This was my third visit here and it never fails to deliver. It was my husbands first visit to the Kasbah and he was blown away by it. We travelled with friends who also found it breath taking. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to use the pool area in the afternoons after a couple of... More

If you are on a two centre holiday then follow up Marrakech with a stay at Kazbah Angour. We stayed for four nights in April and could have made it longer. Room 1 with a walk in shower was spacious & comfortable. The food and drink, typically Moroccan, was very good in all respects. Staff very helpful and keen to... More

Excellent hotel let down by patchy service and dull food The hotel itself is a pleasant modern building on a hilltop, with all modern amenities, in fabulous extensive gardens that provide beautiful views in all directions. The staff can arrange guided tours on foot or by jeep, and those we tried were worth the expense (reduced if you can find... More

"Paul, I just wanted to say how much we all enjoyed our holiday with you over the last week. Everything was perfect. You and your staff must rate as the most attentive and helpful that I have ever encountered at any hotel. The trip to Toubkal was the icing on the cake – with such wonderful weather and great snow...
