Keep an eye on your belongings in this hotel. We locked the door the of the room and were going for some hour. When we came back we noticed that laptop and sun glasses have been stolen. Reaction of the hotel was this cannot happen because the main door of the hotel is always closed.

We didn't like our stay in Hotel Rodelu. It got quite a good review in the Lonely Planet, so that's why we decided to stay here, but that Lonely Planet review is way too positive. Rooms got all the main facilities including tv, but the shower was so so. Besides that it's very noisy as the windows face the stairs.... More

Paid $27 and got a modern, clean, comfortable room with a TV, WiFi, a hot shower, hair dryer, free Internet. Staff could be more friendly and they don't offer tours and such but was still a great option.

This was a good value, probably the best in Latacunga from what we saw. Clean rooms, modern furnishings -- equivalent of a budget hotel chain in the states. Restaurant downstairs had good, wood-fired pizza. Free wifi.
