We stayed here as it was the cheapest place we could book online. Later we talked to people who paid less and had a better stay at a hostel nearby - they just walked in and booked, so I would recommend trying that. Hotel Rosim was fine - the room was dark and dated but clean. The bathroom was clean... More

This was a poor choice for a stay. Very basic. The room carpets were not very clean. There was only enough hot water for half a shower for my wife, me being the second person got no hot water. It felt like I was staying in a large empty can of tomato juice, very high walls but not much in... More

The best thing about this place was the location but we later discovered there were other nicer places nearby for less money. The room was dark and cavernous with a dim light bulb as the main source of light. The carpet and bedspreads are tired and worn. The only way to keep the room door closed was to lock it.... More

Clean and comfortable hotel near the main square in city center. Hotel was on the more expensive side and really not suitable for budget travelers. Great, consistent WiFi, hot showers with constant pressure. Staff were very helpful in planning day trips to Quilotoa and Cotopaxi. Restaurant closes early. Beds were very comfortable.

Nice and helpful staff (let us use the phone multiple times), decent rooms, solid wifi, but nothing outstanding about this place. There was some loud construction around 5 am, too -- didn't love that.

The rooms are large, rather comfortable and pretty clean. But some problems with hot water, from time and time. And Latacunga can get chilly. Plus it is not particularly cheap either, but apparentlt there are few sleeping options in Latacunga and it is ideally located near the church and the main square, and also close to many travelling agencies, which... The location of the hotel is very nice. So are the rooms. Ours was very big and with nice furniture. They even had heating. Room and bathroom were very clean and the shower was just great. With burning hot water and a strong jet of water. Heavenly! One thing that was negative: the wifi was terrible.

The hotel appeared to be a kind of dependance of the Rodelu hotel next door. Information at the desk was very limited, room was clean. Bathroom was outdated. 10 minutes after opening hot tap still cold water! Bathroom supplies (towels, shampoo) were not complete. During checkout no Rosim staff was present, only Rodelu hotel staff. No adequate response to bathroom... More

There's not a lot of options in Latacunga, but this place was ok for us en route for Quilotoa loop. I think it's an ok place to stay for one night. Make sure they received your reservation, cause they "lost" our. Our room was clean, althought matress and pilow were a bit unconfortable. Form there, you can easily walk to... More

Initially we were shown a huge, cold room that was right over a barbeque pit in the kitchen. After checking several rooms we opted to stay at Hotell Rodelu next door (same owners). They were gracious about the change. Room was OK but a bit cold and noisy. Latacunga probably isn't the best place to say ..keep moving if you... More
