We were not particularly interested in the city of Belen but it was a natural stopover on our tour on ruta 40 and it proved to be the best choice we had. This hotel is a centre of tourist requirements where little else exists. Belen is a town on ruta 40, that is the Argentinian home of the Poncho, it also sits nicely as a stopping off point on route north or south when driving ruta 40.
