Spent the day with my husband and baby twins. Had lunch, which was mediocre, staff made the minor effort of placing the water at our table and watching as we struggled with getting up to serve ourselves. I had to walk into the kitchen to ask for coffee The tea table was very scant, no juice, gross coffee, not even... More

San Ceferino is the perfect place to get away from Buenos Aires and relax, either before or after heading to Patagonia or the wilder parts of Argentina. This is what relaxation should be! Our apartment was beautifully decorated, quiet and spotless. The living room looked out between shade trees towards the lake - it felt like we were at home... More

I stayed in this place for just one night. When you arrive it looks nice and cozy, it seems like a real Estancia, but the room I stayed was smelling strong, most of the staff treats you like they are doing you a favor and most of them do not speak English. Worst came when I had to pay the... More

We arrived as part of a larger group after a long flight from Europe. The room we got was very large and nice. The air conditioner did not work and the remote control was missing. It took me most of the day and three visits to the reception before someone actually understood the problem and actually found a remote control... More

Supposed to be a luxury experience but turned out to be average. Arriving on a monday, apparently place not 'geared' for operation. No candles were lid, no water available on tray, Sauna not operating etc. Only thing perfect was a very smiling and helpful girl at the Spa reception.

Spent a day/night at Estancia San Ceferino. The place is pretty enough with outdoor pools, tennis courts and a spa. The spa costs an extra 30 pesos (at today’s exchange rate, less than $10 US) for use of the gym, indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and locker rooms. Massages and the like are extra. We booked two types of rooms,... More
