Its a little charmer, old fashioned inn, beautifully appointed sunk in the middle of the vineyards. We had an attic room on the second floor, certainly less spacious but more romantically atmospheric. To be hosted by Marie and Michel is to be installed in heaven's gate.

We stayed here for a over night stop while traveling trough France. We wish we had arrived earlier but due to travel delays we arrived very late, 1am. When we knew we were going to be late they assured us it was okay and gave us a number to call once we arrived so the could buzz us in the... More

This was a great stopover for us on the way to the South of France. The hotel is situated at the foot of a gorgeous hill covered in vineyards and on the edge of a great little French village we enjoyed exploring in the evening by foot. They accomodated our late arrival due to crazy traffic and were very welcoming... More

We booked a room through Hotel.com and it worked perfectly. Our room was on the 2nd floor and as it was an extremely hot day the climbing of the stairs ( there is no elevator) was not so easy. But we knew this, so no problem! Airconditioning in the room worked fine and the only thing missing was a shower... More

Nice hotel near Dijon. Clean rooms, well povided bathroom and parking bewind the fence. Breakfast is also OK for European standards. Friendly English speaking Staff. We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. Right around the corner you will find the cateaux to taste some Bourgogne wines.

We have been coming here on and off for over 15 years. The Farnier family always offer a warm welcome along with a location in the heart of the Cote D'Or. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and most have terrific views of the vineyards. This is always our first stop on any trip to Burgundy and will continue... More

Passing through Givrey we stopped for 1 night, this hotel was affordable and adequate for us. With surrounding vineyards it is located on the outskirts of the village. Our room was clean, so was the bathroom. Breakfast too expensive for people who would be happy with a cup of coffee and croissant. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Gevrey Chambertin has been a destination for us before but this time was bad on so many counts. Overpriced wine and a tourist trap. The hotel was not very welcoming and although clean it had no real soul and the wines in the foyer on sale were astronomical. Staff were polite but that was it. Too expensive for what it... More

We stayed here for one night on our way south. The hotel is situated surrounded by burgundian vineyards. The hotel is in extemely good shape and the staff are helpful, efficient and speak English. The room was clean and the twin beds comfortable. With a temperature of +30C we were glad of the almost silent air conditioning. We were not... More

Last visited here 20 years ago. Since then, the hotel has added a breakfast room and extended its free parking into the former garden area. Otherwise, it remains a pleasant, classic French hotel. Reception and service was excellent. They like you to speak French if you can but speak very reasonable English if needed. The rooms are a decent size,... More
