As a family we have been using this hotel since 1997. My wife first came to St Lunaire with her convent school in 1972 and when she described this beautiful town and beech, she never did it justice. The locals of all ages use this beech and it has a good bistro beech bar providing the usual frite's, wine and beer.... More

We discovered St Lunaire after over hearing a couple mention it on the over night ferry from St Malo ferry . Kan Avel is a simple little French hotel( everything squeezed in) in the tiny Main Street. It has a maritime feel & is very convenient to stay at the night before catching a ferry. It is very well priced... More

We have just returned from 2 nights in this lovely bijoux hotel. The owners were very pleasant. The breakfast which was 7 euros extra was really delicious - good assortment of croissant, jams orange juice, fresh fruit salad, dried fruits and much more. The area is very lively but compared to Dinard or St Malo much more tranquil. The hotel is... More

We stayed here last year and reviewed the hotel as "Low cost but highly recommended." I can only reiterate my recommendation but would add that this time we had time for breakfast and met Monsieur who attended to our needs. He is every bit as pleasant as the charming Madame and just as obliging. A lovely couple running a clean... More

Lovely small hotel run by a charming lady. The rooms are adequate and very clean giving excellent value for money. An ideal location to experience all that Saint Lunaire has to offer. A few minutes stroll to the promenade and beach. Sunday morning market is literally on the doorstep!

Me and my husband stayed here for 10 days in July 2008. The hotel was well located, you could walk to the beach in approx. 10 minutes. Around the hotel was always place to park the car. The room was small, but very clean (they cleaned it every day). Our room had a bathtube and a toilet with sink, they... More

We had to scamble at the last minute to get a hotel near St Jacut in France and lucked out with this wonderful find. Rooms are small and simple, but tastefully decorated and very clean. The breakfast room is a delight and breakfast is worth the 6 Euros. The location is great in the middle of town, next to the... More
