This wonderful Relais Chateau Hotel is situated on the shore of the Mer d'Iroise with a spectacular view overlooking the sea and the beach (and very close to major tourist attractions in Locronan, Douarnenez , Menez Hom, Quimper and many others). Perfectly situated for watching the sunset from your dining room table through the large bay windows which surround the... More

This hotel presents itself in the top of the market. And there are some reasons to understand this. First the kitchen. Although my Homard Roti was not excellent or even good, my wife had a Homard Grille and she was enthousiastic. Both of us were really content with a fine Blanc de Turbot au Kumquat Confin, Viennoise de Parmesan, Aster... More

This is that special place you want to go. The hotel is right on what looks to be your own private beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms our large very clean and elegant. They speak English and go out of their way to help.

We have been coming here for many years and will continue so to do. There is nothing more relaxing than to lie in bed and listen to the waves beating on the beach and the earlier morning chirps of the birds. The rooms are bright and the bathrooms are large and well laid out with good quality amenities. The restaurant... More

We have visited this Hotel/Restaurant, 2/3 times a year for just over 11 years, to stay sometimes, other time just to eat dinner or lunch. The food is imaginative and very well presented with a good choice; local products are used in the main. Chef, Mickaël Fox has never failed to please in the last 6 years. The service in... More

We had a splendid time at this pleasant family run hotel. Yes it is expensive, but we knew it would be. Our junior suite was very comfortable with a lovely view of the beach. Initially the service was very French, if you are British this should make sense. We stayed for seven nights and by the end I thought we... More

Our room is thoroughly modern--recessed lighting and flat screen TV, exceptionally well appointed bathroom, quite large and comfortable, spectacular sea view - next time, ask for "Malamock" room. Dinner here is amazing. I have the 52 euro prix fixe and my wife orders à la carte. Delicious ameuse bouche duo of bisque de homard and smoked salmon with apple and... More

The Hotel de la Plage is located at the end of a road, directly on the beach. It is incredibly peaceful, even with a fairly full house, and the views are amazing. After a very good meal in the restaurant, you can walk quite a long ways on the beach while watching the sun set, and see only the occasional... More

Rating a hotel experience is always relative to the expectations you have. And when you book a (pretty expensive) Relais & Châteaux property in France, those are very high. It's not that the Hotel de la Plage is a bad hotel or a bad experience, it's just that you miss that "wow" effect you get used to and expect at... More

We love this hotel for many reasons. It has a truly fabulous location with the most stunning views you can imagine. Each night at dinner we sit in the gorgeous conservatory and watch the sun set over the headland at Crozon. The food is wonderful, although at the end of the week we are starting to beg for salad in... More
