Relais et Chateaux of the older type. Rising above the rocks on the bay of the Atlantic Ocean. Lovely spacious room with balcony and superb sea views. Shower and separate tub, separate toilet. The latter is fine, but there's no opportunity to wash hands (enough space) and because the toilet is on the other side of the bedroom, after visiting... More

We stayed one night in Rm 42, Junior Terrace Suite, which is in a small wing of an old stone building with it's own outside entrance. The view from the comfortable lounge chairs on our terrace was of the swimming pool, further rooms below, the beautiful bay and rural coastline beyond. No privacy on the terrace. The room was spacious,... More

This was our final hotel of 3 that we stayed in on our recent holiday to France. The previous 2 hotels had been rated 3 star and both had been really good, the second being superb in every way, so we were really looking forward to our stay in this 4 star rated hotel. Well what a let down. We... More

We were looking for a special short break in Brittany in June and this hotel WAS very special. The service and attention to detail from all the staff was outstanding. The facilities were excellent and, thanks to some beautiful weather during our stay, we made use of the outdoor as well as the indoor pool. The immediate surroundings of the... More

We had a wonderful time at the Domaine de Rochevilaine ! A perfect place to spend a romantic week-end… We arrived late in the evening and it was like entering a fairy tale. Great location, good spa service, pleasant staff, but owner Mr Jacquet is arrogant.I raised with him the discomfort of rooms 90 and 92 due to the lack of air-conditioning or ventilation in the rooms. The only way to cool the room was to open the window which let in an army of mosquito and made the 2 nights very uncomfortable.... More

Dear Sir, I am sorry if I appeared "arrogant" to you. As far as I am concerned, i didn't really appreciate your behavior either, trying to intimidate me by posting a bad comment about our establishment on different social networks if I didn't give you a compensation... With absolute courtesy, I do my best to uphold our House dignity and... More
