We arrived at Domaine de Rochevilaine about 5.30. This was for the splurge part of the holiday- €300 a night. So 2 nights were as much as we could afford. First the good points - what a beautiful location! At a headland with a magnificent view over the Gulf of Morbihan. Then our room - very nicely appointed with its... More

Wonderful 3 night stay midweek. Spectacular location with stunning views sunrise to sunset. Stylish and comfortable accommodation in separate buildings all within 3mins of Reception and Restaurant, in a very quiet area. Staff very friendly and efficient, and no problems with our lack of French language! Food was fantastic (Michelin grade), especially the seafood, 2 evening meals for 2 cost... More

I'm not a spa person so for me this was quite an expensive night's stay during a cycle tour of Brittany and Normandy. I had no time to use the very smart, extensive facilities, apart from a pre-breakfast dip in the beautiful swimming pool. But I saw how pleasant the outside areas were, and in side the décor is individual... More

A lovely location, with may rooms overlooking the sea. Our Junior Suite was small, but perfectly adequate in size. The restaurant is superb (one Michelin star) and the service everywhere is outstanding. Our sole complaint is the horribly slow internet.

At any time of year, should I have the opportunity, I would revisit this wonderful hotel. The food is absolutely tremendous, and the views of the sea with its mammoth twice daily tides, a mesmerizing experience. The breakfasts were culinary adventures in themselves (there are 4 to choose from, each commodious and interesting.) We ate each of our five nights... More

Overlooking the sea, this idyllic hotel could be from a fairytale. The villas are absolutely charming, and the rooms spacious. The view from the pool is breathtaking and I could have stayed there forever. The breakfast is served to the room, and we had four different options, my classic one was what I expected, simple and good. The restaurant is... More

this hotel has a lovely location but lets itself down with poor service and rude staff especially at breakfast. We were a group of three couples touring Brittany and had to wait 20-30 minutes to order breakfast which was detailed in 4 set menus and resistance from staff to let you mix and match. Staff were rude and sullen. Dinner... More

We had a delightful few days. Slightly marred by Brittany Ferries Plymouth sailings from Plymouth. All easily offset by our ghee days here. Great setting a room with fantastic views across the bay. Lovely spa and two fantastic suppers in the hotel. Highly recommended but look out for the same half price deal we got.

Living near Paris, we drove 5 hours to get to this charming, authentic yet isolated Brittany stone manor. It is a grouping of buildings overlooking the coast of Brittany. We started with a pheonecian massage on a thick, heated stone slab. It was relaxing and excellent experience followed by a cup of herbal tea in a calm room with our... More

This is an old fashioned hotel and probably very relaxing if you are elderly and want a restful place to snooze away the afternoon in the company of other people of a similar age. The hotel has a beautiful setting right on the sea and many of the buildings are 17th century. The rooms are very comfortable in a 1950's... More

Dear Jeremy P, Thank you for taking the time to rate our hotel following your stay. Nevertheless, I wish you to leave with these impressions, which are personal and I can not of course share. Domaine de Rochevilaine is indeed a timeless place where everyone can relax just by listening to the sound of the sea as you could see,... More
