As a visitor, I was spellbound by Cesiak. For so many reasons, it is a world class gem, of which you will be hard pressed to find something even comparable. The setting is idyllic, on a thin strip of peninsula dividing the Atlantic side reef from the inland mangrove lagoon. To the eastern side are pristine beaches, with turquoise water... more

We loved it. You could not possibly be closer to the nature. Do not expect any luxury in the tents, but expect to feel the athmosphere of the pure nature, of the most beautyful surrounding, beaches, birds and just the sound of the waves! The setting is just gorgeous. The cabanas are permanent tents on wooden platforms right in front... more

This place is not for everyone. That is obvious. But I have been going there for 5 years now and I really love it. You have to realize that this is one step up from camping in a absolutely gorgeous setting. The cabanas are permanent tents on wooden platforms right in front of the ocean. There are real beds and... more

We really loved our stay at Cesiak. The managers and staff were delightful, friendly, fun to hang out with, helpful and endearing. Pepe and Ramon, the managers were gracious and we enjoyed many conversations with them. The tent we got (number 6) was the best of all of them. A terrific view from our perch atop the sand dune of... more

Very difficult right from the beginning to book a reservation, glad it was only for 2 nights. I didn't realize these are tents, WITH NO BATHROOMS OR ELECTRICITY! The hike to the communal, made to look and smell environmentally sensitive toilets in the middle of the night was a drag. Waiting for showers with no soap also not my idea... more

The maids are the brains behind this hotel. The tent cabins are immaculate and stylishly turned out with towel art and high quality sheets, despite the challenges of the blowing sand and lack of electricity. My young daughter and I loved this place - the most spectacular beach and so much for the nature-lover to do. We only spent one... more

My wife and I spent two nights at Cesiak. We found the tent/cabins comfortable, and the rest rooms and showers were very clean. Yes the wind was blowing like crazy, but you can control the noise by opening or closing the various flaps on the tent. The beach is beautiful and is the way the entire coast was maybe 25... more

On the surface this seems like a really nice place. The staff are friendly, the location is very pretty and and facilities seem to be ok. I have two main problems with this place however. The first may seem picky but to me it is important. After dark on the first (and only night) we stayed there was an incident... more

CESiAK is definitely an interesting experience -- see some of the other reviews for information about the lodgings. It is a tent, they do have spectacular views, and the bathrooms are shared but clean. For what you get, the place should cost about half what it does. The front desk staff are not particularly friendly, and the restaurant is very... more

Yes the beach and views are incredible. I didn't find the front desk staff very helpful or friendly. The staff that clean are excellent and take care in your tent. Just know it is a tent you are in and with the wind and ocean it can be quite loud and even shake your bed at night. The tours are... more
