My husband booked us a short stay here (which we soon wished had been MUCH longer!) before our stay at an all inclusive. After experiencing both, I can truly say I will NEVER stay anywhere except Xamach Dos when in the Tulum/Cancun area. There is nothing like this place! The staff is amazing! Yes, it's a little trek down a... More

One of my favorite experiences in Mexico over many years-the best part was renting the car to drive to this beautiful, remote place, that has the best bar and best margaritas I have ever seen/had. Only those seeking real paradise and quiet should brave the drive! You will not want to leave, unless it is windy, then take a day... More

Casa Secreta 6 Nights / 7 Days. Will come back! If you require AC, crispy white sheets, a swimming pool, shopping, color by number group tours, and a spa all in one place, then Xamach Dos is certainly not for you. If you are looking for less people (tourists), more jungle/ocean time, amazing food, intimate conversations with the locals and... More

If you want fancy restaurants, clubs, tiki bars, and smooth roads, then this is not the place for you. If you want a remote place, a beautiful empty beach, wilderness all around, a strong ocean breeze, a chill place to completely relax than this could be your paradise. We live in NYC, so getting away from the noise and stress... More

Xamach Dos is a gem of a place, made even more special by the great welcome. After a drive down from Tulum (on a road that was in far better condition than expected), Michelle and Jolise couldn't have been better hosts - kind hearted and attentive. We were treated to some excellent food cooked up by Fernando (grouper, jerk chicken... More

After reading amazing reviews on trip advisor my husband and I booked 4 nights at Xamach Dos. The road has been recently regraded hence it was a comfortable journey from Tulum..We were greeted by the new manager, she showed us Balaam(apparently a new Cabana). Xamach Dos beach strip is barely 100-150meters long Michelle keeps it very clean. However, the surrounding... More

My wife and I stayed at XamachDos for 3 nights this March 2015. In a word: Wonderful! Don’t miss it. It is one of those little gems that are off of the beaten track. Getting there is part of the fun. You leave the Tulum hotel zone and bump your way about 25 KM down the Boca Paila road. The... More

Just got back from 4 nights and Xamach Dos. There were pros and cons, and I tend to think most of the cons were the result of some bad luck for the owners during the stay. Pros: The setting is beautiful. If you are looking for a gorgeous, sleepy, isolated beach vacation, then this location is perfect. This was my... More

The biggest problem I had with this resort is not the fault of the owner. However, it is only fair to warn people that if you go expecting a lovely spot on a pristine beach you will be very disappointed. While Dan makes every effort to keep the beachfront on his property clean, the minute you step off his stretch... More

We loved this place! It is a family owned and run hideaway. We made quick friends and lots of laughs with the owners and small staff. Super chill atmosphere, great food and very, very relaxing. You can choose to hang out in the big welcoming open cabana and socialize through out the day (which is where beverages are available as... More
