This is a centuries old inn that as been converted into an Italian restaurant and a B&B by an Italian chef and his Polish wife in the lovely little village of Hawkesbury Upton just off the A26 and about twenty minutes from Bath. Six of us spent a very comfortable night there when recently visiting Bath, which was completely booked... More

We stayed for one night at the Fox whilst walking the Cotswold Way. All of the staff we found to be very friendly and helpful. The bedroom we had was beautiful and had a comfortable bed with a very nice ensuite. Unfortunately we did not really enjoy our evening meal.I was hoping to convert my husband to Italian food. He... This is lovely little place to stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the room we stayed in was lovely and the beds were unbelievably comfy! The Inn is about 20 minutes from Bristol and very easy to access as the motorway is about 5-10 minutes away for easy access. The breakfast was lovely and the menu from the... More

A really fine Bed and Breakfast with some great Italian food to boot. I stayed one night in July 2015 whilst walking the Cotswolds and found the Fox Inn to be a perfect place to rest up along the way.

In a very nice village. The family room was large and well furnished. The bathroom was clean with very good over bath shower. The breakfast room was opposite our room. For breakfast you had a choice of full English or Italian omelette. I had the omelette was very nice

Stayed one night for an event at Westonbirt Arboretum, the pub is very well situated as it's only a 10 minute or so drive to the Arboretum. The light and airy room was excellent, with TV, tea and coffee making facilities, almost instant hot water in the bathroom with the option of a shower or bath, but what made the... More

Stayed just for the night because we like having a drink each and not having to worry about driving afterwards. Arrived and shown to our room by a nice happy lady and noted that the restaurant was very busy - a good sign indeed. Showered and back down for some good ale and took our place at our table (pre-booked... More

5 of us booked a table last Saturday evening. We had a warm welcome and choose from the menu whilst having drinks in the bar. A good choice with the specials well explained. The restaurant area was cosy & comfy. 3 of us had their homemade red wine which was good value and good quality. The starters were all a... More

Having stayed at a huge number of hotels and guest houses over the years the welcome was exceptional, friendly and genuine. The family room that I was allocated for sole occupancy was large and comfortable, just be aware that there is no curtain or blind on the bathroom window which may be a little disconcerting. with a free car park... Very friendly hosts in this dog-friendly pub. Stayed for one night when walking the Cotswold Way. Room was comfortable and perfect for walkers plus dog. Best thing of all was the delicious Italian food served by friendly staff. Recommended to those looking for accommodation just off the CW footpath.
