We stayed as TImeshare guests as we own Diamond Points. i's usually fully booked a year in advance and we now understand why. This is a carefully converted former Rich Man's home at the pinnacle of a hilltop. The house overlooks beautiful gardens on both sides and also the flood lit Castle across on the adjacent rise. The whole town... More

We took a last minute weekend break at Palazzo Catalani and got a really good price for two beautiful rooms with good views. Kitchenettes were well equipped and everything worked well. We know north Lazio well, and for tourists with limited time to spend in the area, there is not an enormous amount to see (compared with other areas within... More

We have just spent a few relaxing days at Palazzo Catalani. The staff were most welcoming and caring. We were shown to our apartment without too many formalities and quickly. This was our second visit so knew what to expect. It was some 12 years since our last visit and we realised how much older and more unfit we have... More

Such a lovely location, we looked out across the town to the floodlit Orsini Castle. Helpful & friendly staff. The towns people were all very friendly too, shopping in the little local shops was always fun. Parking was a nightmare, there always seems to be a festival on. Just such a peaceful part of Italy yet so close to Rome.... More

We used Diamond Resorts points for our stay with our sons and a girlfriend in January 2014. It is an amazing place with fantastic views across ancient roofs to the castle on the hill. The service was brilliant very helpful staff and cleanliness was exceptional. The studio and 1 bedroom apartment had everything we needed to do our own cooking.... More

I got lucky when Interval showed availability. Friendly staff, beautiful romantic medieval town. Go for it. Large rustic room. Getting there the first day is difficult. Saturday there is help with luggage from the parking lot. Great views from my top floor. Comfy large bed. Rent a car and drive to medieval towns. Love it love it love it. Try... More

A beautiful place, in non touristy Italy, but great accessibility. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Can't wait to find time to return. The town is lovely, and although we speak no Italian, and most people only a little English, they were always helpful.

We stayed at Palazzo one week (timeshare). Good value on half day cooking class. Okay value on one day trip to family farm and hikes to roman and tuscan ruins. Go during the chestnut festival if possible for a feeling of being immersed in 17th century Italy. Soriano feels local rather than touristy yet has many very good restaurants and... More
