In case you are looking for a place to stay, and yet need that homely feeling, then this is exactly the place to stay! David is an awesome host and his kid Henry will make your heart melt! The B&B is situated a ten minute walk from the Hillsborough village amidst fields and farms, and is quiet. The room were... More

A group of friends and I stayed at this lovely family run cottage during s recent trip to NI. Clean accommodating rooms. Spacious bathrooms. Bespoke breakfast service. Take care however, as generosity can masquerade as hidden extra charges. We were stung with an additional charge for taking up the offer of an additional bed in a separate room- no charge... More

A very easy location to find as on the main road up from Dublin to Belfast. We only stayed one night but everything was really nice, from the welcome from Dave and his little boy Henry 3 years old, who helped his father out at breakfast the next morning by bringing the toast rack to our table. We found that... More

Stayed for 3 nights and made to feel very welcome. Good sized warm room, comfy bed, good shower and lovely breakfast! Icing on the cake was when David the owner gave us a lift to a local restaurant to save us the 10 minute walk in cold and wet weather! I'd strongly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Stayed for one night this week whilst on a business trip and was really impressed, will definitely be back. I was in the family room which was nicely furnished, really well equipped and extremely clean and comfortable, lots of little touches which made all the difference (like a good hairdryer). Shower room in particular was way above expectations. Was made... More

Based on a farm barely 1 mile from the town centre, this is again an exceptional B&B. Fairly modern but in a homely design. Owner David Dunlop is friendly and accomodting like all his compatriots in Northen Ireland have proven. Nothing was too much bother to the extent of dropping us off in town in the evening so we could... More

Just stayed here one night this week. A really comfortable place to be. The location is quiet, the room was large and very comfortable, the shower was good, the breakfast was excellent and David and his family were just like old friends. I'll definitely be back!

We stayed at Dunhill Cottage for 2 nights 8/9 August 2014. We had a family room which was lovely with plenty of space for 3 adults. The location could not have been better, it is in a lovely spot and we walked into Hillsborough both nights. The Breakfast was superb and plenty of it. David was very friendly and helpful... More
