I took my children here for a mini vacation. It was $150/person for 2 days and 3 nights along with 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners, and a 2.5 hour boat cruise. To get to the hotel, we had to pay $2.75 to cross a large bridge, which was okay because you only had to pay it going onto the island.... More

Hill Island Resort or Lodge was the only on-line hotel in the area that was avalible. The feedbacks scared me, but I have stayed at badly rated hotels that were a good budget stay. This is a good $30 to $40 a night Motel, but not the $140.00 I paid. The rooms were clean and the area safe, but believe... More

Horrible place, the televisions are not flat screen as advertised, the free breakfast is not free, there is not a separate tub and shower as advertised, and the service is terrible. It sits amidst an unsightly cluster of abandoned buildings and broken parking lots, there is no restaurant to speak of, and there is literally nothing to do within an... More

That's the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. We had a toddler wanted to sleep in a bed not car seat, so decided to make a night-over stop before the border cross. I wish I did ran away across the border to find some other place. Unfortunately we stayed there. It was a nightmare, this place doesn't... More

It wasn't the worst place we have stayed at nor was it the best! It was clean and the management was trying very head to keep it up. The dinner was okay and the breakfast was very good! The package deal was good with the boat ride! Lots of deer around to watch.

The place was ”ran down” and filthy with limited breakfast selection. Wi-Fi was not really working (bring your cables to access internet). Other than closely located to the US/Canadian Bridge the hotel was a disappointment – will never stay there again.

The hotel has USB connection in all rooms, WI-Fi has just been upgraded therefore making the entire hotel Wi-Fi friendly. The breakfast selection plus menus have been updated to make it a better selection as we have been listening to the complaints. More

Took my husband and daughter for the 2 nights, 3 day deal. When I called to reserve the room, I was told there were no standard rooms available but the balcony and deluxe rooms were available. I took the deluxe room. We noticed that there was not that many people there. I have a feeling there were plenty of standard... More

Keep in mind, I have been a camper for 10+ yrs. I have been across Ontario as far east as PEI and have never experienced what I did this past weekend. Driving up, it was already a disappointment, place looked old and had a unkept appeal. Enter and the musty scent is enough to make one cough. The room smelled... More

The Lodge is within walking distance of the St. Lawrence Lake. That is important. The rounds were immaculate. The lodge is so has a lot of character but also has many modern conveniences. I had no problem with that though and knew it ahead of time. The staff was friendly and helpful.Upon arrival we were offered an upgrade at no extra... More
